The neck is very thin and soft, it reacts extreme on temperatures and humidity. I dont' like it very much.Got that model for about a year. I also don't like the Humbuckers. Coil split sounds great tho. The bridge is also nice

For 300 you can maybe find a used ibanez or LTD 7 string. I would stay away from guitars at that price with a floating bridge, they're usually not great to play or maintain. For this tuning you want a longer scale and a hot pickup more than anything.

@@antares4975 The particular ones I was playing was similar to the one in the video but NOT the exact same configuration, but same body style and also being an Ibanez 7 string. The guitars I tried did, in fact, have fanned frets with various patterns and also had active pickups. It was at around the 600$ price point as well, for reference. That is to say they may be slightly different models but very similar.

@Shutupyoubird the intonation isn't all that great I've got it as low as it goes. I stay below the 5th fret and chug aggressively. No issues lmao
