Congratulations, Mr. Olson. I was a big fan of yours along with other American vaulters, and had the opportunity to get your autograph at the 1983 Mason-Dixon Games in Louisville. You attempted a then world record of 18' 11", of which I have several photos of those vaults. Six (6) days later, you became the first indoor 19-foot vaulter at the Toronto Maple Leaf Games. Well done, sir.
