There are substitutions available. Mulcharmies for imperm/thrust/droplet, you can drop the azamina for just superpoly engine for going 2nd, silvia and erythscion are superpoly targets. Fiendsmith is just mandatory. Of course I will try to max out this deck's potential but there are alternatives available. The erythschion concept as a boardbreaker stays. In reality, the only engine that you kinda have to pay for to play this deck is Fiendsmith with 2 engravers which are $160 for 2 (at the point of this comment), lacrima around $20, and the rest of the engine.

Underrated doesn’t mean inexpensive. Lol

There are ways that you can play the deck without brafu. Yes, it hurts. But you should never start the game with desires in the first place. If you have to start with desires, you have drawn a pretty bad hand. If brafu is banished, establish Quem and cartesia control. You have tools like branded in high spirits and access to branded in white in those scenarios. Just think that your branded fusion got perma ashed. You will find a way to play no matter what

@@Tristanzabinski non-engine slots because everyone and their mothers are running handtraps. I think that my approach for this deck has changed. I’d rather play board breakers or cards like droplet/eclipse/thrusts for this deck and side board in HT for specific matchups

I have another video where I have a centurion version of this deck. Both deck have different playstyles. This deck achieves the goal of a more grindy midrange game while WF cent just make double blazar

@@jamesronces9404 if they shifter you in draw phase, find access to woes. Woes + runick is an eclipse. Better than nothing. Every deck that doesn’t play shifter in this format loses to shifter so idk what to say. Also, set your runick spells and pass turn. If they go to BP, use your runick spells as e tele for bodies. If they shifter they shifter it’s alright.

Same for yubel and sn-eye, big deal, if they have it, they have it

emblema oath locks you into centurion, so if you open embelma, it feels really bad. also, primera is a light spellcaster tuner, so astellar can summon her straight up without having to go through the oath. it is definitely not needed in this build but if you decide to play a larger centurion package with the atria (the new one), maybe its needed but then again, the pure focus of this build is on the WF engine

@@seantyexdee you are almost never using emblema to place a cent monster in the S/T zone, you're using it to set a Cent S/T (Stand-Up) which then places trudea without locking you. You 100% should be playing Emblema at 3 with or without the new cent tuner!

@@xuyang6013 more of a player preference really, i like a higher hand trap count in this meta, also the wf engine can access the centurion by making auxila searching the field spell already, thus i dont need the oath. if you play a heavier centurion build, then yes. but i dont think it is necessary in this build to be able to put up the boards that you want. you can still calamity lock people, even nib proof yourself with asteria + toy box/soldier, so i prefer having a way to beat the snake eye player going 2nd as well

​@@seantyexdee Oath only locks you as long as a card with the name you placed is in the field + you can place the field spell. In my testing Oath is absolutely one of the best cards to extend you plays against a hand trap format. I recommend testing it. In my list I still have 16 slots for hand traps. Keep it up!

i agree if it's for going 2nd. going first, i still want to be able to reach my white forest starters and pot of prosperity are both good going 1st and 2nd. besides, i think banishing 3 most of the time should be enough. usually you banish generic things like typhon, zapper fish, omega, appo, etc if you are not using it.
