    Would love to hear your thoughts on this.. I think we are going with the Evenflo Shyft carseat - Venice Child Ventura stroller combo. The shyft disconnects from the wheels, leaving them in the base which seems useful for most non-travel times. Essentially, we would only use it as a true carseat/stroller combo when necessary and when we travel to prevent wear and tear on those wheels and using the stroller most of the time. The stroller package we like comes with carseat adapters, 2nd seat adapters, a toddler seat, and a bassinet. Leaning towards the evenflo 360 for the next carseat option once the shyft is outgrown and then the toddler seat in the Ventura will be used.

    • @PabbotBaby
      @PabbotBaby Месяц назад

      I don't know much about the Ventura, but I assume the car seat adapter is compatible with the Shyft. With that in mind, I think this combo is very clever, especially if you need the utility of the Shyft. If not, you could start out with the Evenflo 360 and use the bassinet with the Ventura. It might make sense to wait and see what NHTSA determines in their Evenflo 360 investigation anyway.

    An infant seat with wheels and stroller legs would drive me crazy! We have an Uppa Baby Cruz (old 2017 version) that we love and still use for our eight year old daughter to ride in at places like the grocery or theme parks (she is still just barely under the weight limit). How hard is it to click an infant car seat into a compatible stroller? Then you can still use the stroller with the regular stroller seat in it after. I’ve always thought that the Doona carseat/stroller looked like a bulky headache that was heavy and the infant seat with wheels just seems awkward.

    It is difficult to just get by with the Doona as you can't use it for more than 2 hours at a time, as it is not recommended to have your child in an infant car seat that does not recline for more than 2 hours as it will hurt their back. So if you want to take your baby for walks you either need to always be thinking of the time your child is in the Doona or have another stroller with a bassinet for long walks. This is why although I was sure I would buy a Doona, after doing research it just seems like a waste of money.

    • @PabbotBaby
      @PabbotBaby 2 месяца назад

      They have the new Doona X that reclines. I do agree though, even with that, not the best for stroller for long outings.

    The munchkin snack cups definitely fit in a cup holder. Lol the handles don't go all the way in so they can sit on the outside of child's cup holder. So yes, they do fit in cup holders. You titled this video like you had multiple unpopular opinions of popular products, but it seems like these are just your opinions lol Also, Dr Brown bottles make it very clear that those holes are there and they GIVE YOU the tool needed to clean every part. You need the same tool to properly clean the straw too so I'm not sure what the big deal is. My son had HORRIBLE colic and gas and Dr Brown was the ONLY bottle that helped him. THAT'S why they're so popular. That's the number one reason people use those bottles.

    The Tripp Trapp selling point is that it supports the baby's feet from the beginning, which helps prevent choking. Besides, it's a beautiful high chair that it blends really well in your dining area. It's also super easy to clean and it doesn't come with the straps.

    When did baby proofing become eradicating slugs? I remember being a kid and never wanted to eat a slug but play with it and older put salt on it. Mosquitoes bite so make sure you put the kid in a screen suit before playing on the rubber ground because kids get hurt on real ground.

    The full size crib is the same size as a toddler bed. It is cheaper to just start with a crib and not have to rebuy the mattress. The side of the crib comes off and you can use it just like that or buy the side bar that helps them not roll out. Mini cribs are only good for tight spaces.

      The one it came with, which is size 1. The other bottles (also size 1) were too fast for ours in the newborn stage but may be fine for another baby. We tried a size zero with the Dr. Brown’s bottle and it was too slow.
