I wanna say something about the situation regarding the Dragon Girls cover art. I've only read Wings of Fire, I haven't read Dragon Girls nor do I plan to. However, as an artist, I know that it's often difficult to come up with unique poses for your art, even for a cover. Often times, artists need to use references for poses, and maybe the references the artist used for Dragon Girls' cover art happened to be Wings of Fire's cover art. I would like to refer to that situation as inspiration rather than copying or tracing. None of them look directly traced to me so there is a strong chance it's either inspiration (more likely) or just a coincidence (less likely). I'm not saying they 100% didn't copy wings of fire or anything, maybe they did, this is just my thoughts.
