look at maquez vs katsidis, the ref stopped the fight from the amount of shots katsidis was eating, even though he never went down, that counts as a tko... you have to think of the fighter's safety, plus these are kids and the ref done a good job

Uh dude, at this age in the amateurs (or even in most professional fights) when the refs sees that's you're just eating shots without answer like Zahir was (from the beginning I might add) then for the fighters' safety any smart ref doing their job would have to stop the match w/o need of an actual knockdown. Everyone in boxing knows that it's better to be knocked out / down out of a fight than to have to go through multiple rounds of continuous blows to the head. Ref did his job here.
