AmeriFlux is a network of researcher-managed sites measuring ecosystem CO2, water, and energy fluxes in North, Central and South America. It was established to connect research on field sites representing major climate and ecological biomes, including tundra, grasslands, savanna, crops, and conifer, deciduous, and tropical forests. As a grassroots, investigator-driven network, the AmeriFlux community has tailored instrumentation to suit each unique ecosystem. This “coalition of the willing” is diverse in its interests, use of technologies and collaborative approaches. As a result, the AmeriFlux Network continually pioneers new ground.

So can we put a table with each site's dOIs in the appendix, does it count as a citation? Unlike supplementary, the appendix is a part of the manuscript.
Hi Annu, no it does not replace the need to cite the individual sites. You need to provide a citation for each site you used. As mentioned in the webinar, we have a tool designed to help you gather all the needed citations. Deb
@@deborahagarwal2417 I have published my paper where I provide the dois of each sites used, in addition to which I also provide citation and acknowledgement to Fluxnet data and paper. It was very confusing and tideous to look for papers of each site(some sites don't have it, atleast I can't locate them). When will be this single dynamic doi available? Will be really helpful, because I am going to submit my paper soon.
@@annupanwar2461 If you are using only the sites included in the data paper recently published, then you only need to cite the FLUXNET2015 data paper and provide a table as you indicated. See fluxnet.org/data/data-policy/ for instructions.
