It’s a hallmark of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series; these games have always had kinda janky NPCs. I think it’s just a quirk of the game engine (at least in terms of their behavior). @@StoneCresent Yanno, I’ve never played any of them; they’re turn-based tactical RPGs that pull from a variety of franchises, correct?

@@novemberbravo6194 Yes with a few exceptions. X-Ω was a real-time lane defense gacha game and the Original Generation games exclusively use original characters, mechs, etc. including those created for prior SRW games.

@ I see, I see…Yeah, I just did some looking up, and while it was very cool to see some of my favourite mobile suits getting animated (all the suits from AoZ like the Woundwort and its derivatives, for example; stuff that Bandai won’t commit to proper animation in a thousand years), I don’t really know that it’s the type of game for me. But hey, I’ll try just about anything once!

@@armoredcorelore Glad you enjoyed it! It was definitely a taste of England for me as well; my dad was born in Manchester, grew up in Wotton-Under-Edge, and went to university at Cambridge. He always got homesick when I was younger, so we used to go to England every summer so he could get a taste of home and see his side of the family. Like I said in the video, I haven’t been back since the summer of 2009, but I really miss it (and Europe in general; I was born in, and spent a good amount of my childhood in, Spain).

It’s been quite a while since I last had occasion to cross the pond, and I really miss Europe in general (I was born in Spain, and spent a good portion of my childhood growing up in Western Europe, as both my folks are history professors, so they were travelling all over doing research). It’d be fun to find a way to meet up whenever the wife and I are able to get away : )

@@lankylad8244 I meant what I said: while I appreciate the amount of time and effort that 343 clearly put into updating the visuals, some parts of the game just look and feel better in their original form. This level is a perfect example: the updated graphics, while certainly more detailed, are much too bright and colourful; it looks like a damn Cinco de Mayo parade. The original graphics are much better in terms of what the level is going for: ominous, tense dread. Anyways, thanks for the feedback!
