Oooh in Austin Texas there is a wing place called Pluckers and they have the BEST Dr. Pepper wing sauce! I probably ate it once a week for a year.
Now you can make them yourself and eat them every week!
nice!
好好吃! 🍅🐔🍅
Ooooh looks so easy and sounds good!!
😃😃Thanks ! Yes 👍 You should try it !
ooooh yay happy new year 大吉大利 !! Looks like hours of work, then 30 minutes to eat, then you get a long nap.
So true, so true! 心想事成 👍😃😃😃
yay Bacon! LOL 10:17 with the sound effects.
😊😊😊
Yesssss! more bacon!!! I thought it was amazing without sauce, but that sauce looks magic toooo! Yaaaaaay!
Bacon good! The sauce brought it all together without overpowering it!
wow can't imagine how great fish is there :)
It's actually a defrosted frozen sea bass we picked up from our local Korean supermarket! So surprised that it turned out so well!
@@ChunShim haha niiice!
oh wait! Wrong place! I got this from a booth in Chinatown!
Ooooh these videos are so good :)
Thank you so much again! I’m really happy that you enjoy them! 😃😃
wow ! i didnt know that there were so many ways to wrap zhong u guys remind me of my family so much, the zhongs turned out great, i cant wait to eat some from my grandma!
Thank you! There's quite a lot more ways to prepare them, and even more types of fillings too! And I'm sure you're grandma would definitely be happy you enjoy hers so much!
wow ! looks very tasty
Thank you! It didn't turn out the way I wanted, but it was still very delicious!
It that Kuo Min Tang performing?
I don’t think we filmed them. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they were out there. When we were at the cultural plaza, we counted at least four troupes. And at the same time, we were told there was seven more running around Chinatown side blessing the shops.
very nice. i will have to try this. Thank you.
Absolutely, please give this a try! And the fresher the salmon, the better!
😋👍
Yesss, bacon all the things! Can't smell much better than this, probably.
Bacon goes well with just about everything! 🥓🥓🥓
Never had a Coke sauce, but I am from Texas where Dr. Pepper chicken wing sauce is the most popular haha. This makes me want to try fruity orange or grape soda chicken wings.
Haven't had a Dr Pepper sauce myself, but it's time to try! And I wonder how close to orange chicken I can get to with Fanta orange soda!
wooo flying fish
we were surprised they sang a song too!
looks good! love it when ppl dont waste food :D
so true! We end up with so much left over so often, and it's always fun to see what else we can make with it.
Ooooh this one was amazing and fast! So pretty at the end! The audio was a bit quiet, but the captions are always amazing too!
Thank you again for your support! This was filmed in the morning, so we were trying to keep the noise down.
Demo too slow
bacon!
😋 😋Yummy
Capsaicin is the molecule that makes the peppers spicy. Most of it is inside the seeds indeed. You can plant them and get more peppers no problem
Actually, we did just that! The video was filmed a few months earlier, and the seeds were planted not long after. We now have a beautiful pepper plant. It just started blooming flowers and we're waiting for the peppers to show up.
Thank you for the video! It looks very tasty :)
Thank you for the kind comment and watching!
p̳r̳o̳m̳o̳s̳m̳ 🙏
wow, at first it looked like way too much hot dog, but by the end it seemed just right! amazing!
thank you! I wanted to use some breakfast sausage but only found hot dogs. It worked out pretty well.
The small abalone you got from Costco looks good 👍 cooked together with the chicken 🐔 and mushrooms 🍄. Chinese people in Hawaii are fortunate that Costco sells Chinese stuff including canned abalone. You are right that abalone can not be overcooked as it would be tough, and taste bad. When you get a chance to go on vacation to San Francisco or other big cities, you can eat some big abalone in the big Chinese seafood restaurants 😋. You are a good Chef 👩🍳.
Thank you for your kind words! I still remember when we first heard that Costco was selling abalone. Everyone started calling their friends and family and the next thing you know, it was all sold out! Good thing they were able to keep bringing it back. One place we want to try abalone is Australia. They have these really really fresh and big ones!
@@ChunShim We have a Costco here, but Unfortunately I have not had a chance to go there yet since I don’t drive and buses don’t go there. I doubt that the Costco would have canned abalone, because we don’t have lots of Asian people here in these small towns. In New York City I have heard that the best big abalone are from Mexico. I once ate a awesomely delicious big abalone. I didn’t ask the restaurant where the abalone came from unfortunately. Later, I had other big abalone, and they came from Australia. The Australia big abalone are not that good unfortunately. I believe the first big abalone I had is from Mexico, because it was so awesome that there is no comparison. I don’t live in New York City anymore, but can still take the express bus to go to their Chinatowns. If you go on vacation to Australia, then you can get the fresh really big abalone. I have seen the small fresh live abalone for sale in a Flushing Chinatown supermarket in NYC. I have never seen fresh live big abalone. I am not good at cooking so I can’t cook a fresh live abalone!!!! I’m only good at eating 😃!! Unfortunately, I don’t live near you. Otherwise, maybe you can cook some abalone dishes for me once in a while. You are a good Chef 👩🍳 and can cook for customers 👍.
Our Costco does sell the canned abalone once in a while. I think those are from Australia. They were pretty good too. I don’t know if I had Mexico abalone yet, but now I want to try one! When this Covid clears up a bit more, it’ll be time to go out and find the good food again!
@@ChunShim Texas have Costco that sell canned abalone too.
I think I have eaten every part of the pig, but not the tail! I can't imagine where to even buy one! Wow I did not know you would cook them with the beans! Best pork and beans ever!
We found some at our local supermarket! They do have a lot of Asian items so that could have helped. And you are correct when you say it's the best pork and beans!!!
I have never heard of the name “raw fried bao” and never heard of the Cantonese name either. There are lots of different kinds of bao. You said you didn’t fry the bao as beautiful as the restaurants do. I think you did a pretty good job 👍.
Thank you! You should see if your local dim sum restaurant will make it for you. That’s where I usually find them, and they make them a really golden color!
Oh my goodness, such a long line to buy pies the day before Thanksgiving last year. But, you didn’t says what kind of 🥧 pies? Must be some kind of special 🥧 pies!! Why didn’t you upload this video after Thanksgiving last year? Why did you waited after 4 months to upload this video?
Actually, this is the video we uploaded last Thanksgiving. ruclips.net/video/G-C55fZcUc8/видео.html This video was more of a downtown walk and the Thanksgiving line was just included because it was filmed that day. Not really sure what type of pies they have. Every time we try to look during that time, they're all run out! If I had to guess, I would think it would be custard and pumpkin pie because they're so popular during that time.
I think that a lot of people don't use a can of beer to wash the spare ribs. You have some good techniques. My mother always used to make winter melon soup. She also made spare ribs, but not sauteed with winter melon. It's nice for the spare ribs to have the vegetable in it. You are smart!
The beer helped with the softening of the meat also. The great thing about Chinese cooking is it's so flexible. Experimenting with combinations lead to better flavors and cooking techniques! I'm sure you're mom has some great cooking techniques I haven't heard of either.
@@ChunShim Thank you. I think you heard of ginseng congee which my Mom liked to make. But, more people like to make ginseng soup.
Ginseng congee, that's a really good idea!

You and your friends had a nice hike. You said you met some pigs hunters. But, you didn't show any of the pig hunters in your video. And you didn't show any pigs, LOL!!!!
you must have missed them at the end of the video!
🐗🐗🐗
Oink oink oink 😃😃
Wow! it does look like the perfect wild pig paradise.
the state needs the hunters to help cull their wild pig populations in the mountains. Lots of local flora that gets destroyed by the pigs overrunning the areas. And the hunters say they make some really delicious roast pork and bacon too!
@@ChunShim Yes, they make a huge mess. Texas has the same problem!
@@Bacon420 it's a very good thing they taste so goooooood!

You are looking at a pufferfish at the Ala Moana Beach with a beautiful scenery, but you didn't get the fish, haha!! So, you are so lucky to live in Hawaii!!
Thanks for watching 🏝🏝☀️☀️🌴🌴🌈🌈🏖🏖😊😊
@@ChunShim You're welcome.
It's so nice to listen to you speak Cantonese!!! I seldom have Chinese people I could speak Cantonese with since I live in a small town. I used to live in NYC. But, I have never heard of this chard vegetable. It's good to live in the big cities with Chinese supermarkets. You can buy all kinds of vegetables, and other Chinese food. Oh, you said this chard vegetable was used to feed the pigs, LOL!!!!!
oh, you are so right about big city supermarkets! I have some friends on NYC and they always let me know all the amazing things they can still find in their supermakets!
