    Dear Bob, I have just a question: If praying in tongue should be an interpretable language between you and God, how can you reconcile this with the groanings of the Spirit in Romans 8:26? "Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with (groanings which cannot be uttered)." So we read groanings that cannot be uttered, it doesn't seem to be something that we can understand, does it?

    • @RobGlassTheGospelTruth
      @RobGlassTheGospelTruth 24 дня назад

      You answered your own question. The Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf with Jesus with groanings “we” cannot utter. Language in any form requires utterance, does it not. Second, no gift is for ourself but to share. Third, no account of genuine tongues speech in scripture is ever anything but real human language being spoken supernaturally by the power of the a Holy Spirit. Paul calls out the fake gift in first Corinthians and places it last in order of importance. I could go on and on but the videos are clear and accurate

    Brother I’m so sorry for this long message… I always ask. If it’s a sign for unbelievers why is there a room full of so called believers, not saying they’re all are not (sheeps) because you have some vessels of wrath in the congregation or tare amongst the saints, but if tongues are a sign for unbelievers why is there a room full of confessing believers all speaking in tongues. When it’s a sign for unbelievers? Well let me say this also. If it’s a actual language they should be speaking also needing an interpreter, why would GOD have you to speak in another tongue if everyone in that room speaks the same language. Also I’ve seen some people stand up when someone spoke in tongues say a few words then the interpreter talks for like 15 mins?? I’m like that word was that long? Also they would interpret saying if you obey me I will bless you. Well the Holy Bible tells me that all we have to do is read. It’s just so much out of order I know GOD wouldn’t even start it out of order if it was of GOD because he’s not confusion. The Bible also says these three remain faith hope agape (love)charity Paul said seek the greatest out of these three which is love…. I’m really enjoying what I’m hearing. I want you to read this what I sent my uncle tell me if it makes sense…. What’s your thoughts on speaking in tongues? Just these two main points right here.I have been reading in acts and in Corinthians and they’re two different things going on. Acts is glossa(unknown tongue) and dialects(Spanish-spain) and Corinthians is just glossa that’s Other or unknown tongues. If the gift of speaking in tongues were for the apostles to spread the news and a few members in Corinthians. Being able to speak a unknown language. Why do they now speak in tongues in church’s without an interpreter. Paul was getting on them about that in Corinthians because they were edifying themselves and not edifying the church. Paul said they speak to GOD, and to the church it’s a mystery. Thats not good. We’re never supposed to speak a mystery to the church it’s supposed to be plainness of speech. The gift is for edifying the body right? He said they’re just speaking to GOD, that’s only because he understands all languages right? but he doesn’t need any edifying from us, the body does. In church why would GOD have me to speak in another language or anyone else if we all speak the same language?? Plus tongues are signs for the unbelievers, so why are all the believers looking for believers or new comers to speak in tongues for evidence of the Holy Ghost? He also said tongues shall cease. Of course tongues will cease when Jesus comes back but that’s not what he was talking about. Are we blinded? He said do we all speak with tongues.. that was a NO. So why is the church they say you have to speak in tongues to know you have the Holy Ghost. That got me right there.

    Brothers and Sisters, 1. We are called to guard the commandments throughout scripture. 2. Sin is transgressing the law (commandments) 3. Saved by grace through faith 4. Faith causes us to following his commandments (law) Matthew 5:18-19 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 1 John 3:4 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Romans 3:20 ..for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 7:7 Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. Isaiah 8:20 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. 1 John 1:6 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 1 John 5:3 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. Shalom!

    In order to address the question of a loving God sending someone to hell, we need to define a few terms and correct a few wrong assumptions. Our definitions must be biblical, and our assumptions must be correct. We must first define the term loving God. This phrase assumes some things about God, and answering the question at hand according to flawed assumptions leads to wrong conclusions. Our culture defines a “loving God” as a completely non-confrontational being who tolerates anything we want to do. But that is not a biblical definition. First John 4:16 says that God is love. That means that He does not possess love as we do; He is the very definition of love and therefore cannot do anything that is unloving. The law of non-contradiction states that something cannot be both true and untrue at the same time. So, if God IS love, then He cannot be at the same time unloving. So the first fallacy present in the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” is the idea that allowing people to go to hell is an unloving act on God’s part. If we humans decide that God is somehow wrong to allow unrepentant sinners to pay their deserved penalty, then we have declared that we are more loving than God is. We have set ourselves up as God’s judge and jury and in doing so have closed the door to deeper understanding. Therefore, the first step in answering this question is to agree with Scripture that God IS love; therefore, everything He does is an expression of that perfect love. The second fallacy presented by the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” concerns the word send, which denotes an action only on the part of the sender. If a man sends a letter, sends a request, or sends a gift, all action was done by that man. No action was taken on the part of the letter, request, or gift. However, this understanding of the word send cannot be applied to the question at hand because God has given human beings freedom to participate in their life choices and eternal destinations (John 3:16-18). The way this question is worded implies that, if anyone goes to hell, it is the result of God’s unilateral action, and the person being sent to hell is a passive victim. Such an idea completely disregards the personal responsibility God has entrusted to each of us. ”How can a loving God send someone to hell?” The entire question is wrong. A better wording is “If God is love, then why do some people go to hell?” Romans 1:18-20 lays the foundation for the answer: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (emphasis added). There are several key points in this passage that give us glimpses into the heart of God. First is the fact that people actively “suppress the truth.” People have been given enough truth to know and surrender to God, but they refuse it. Self-will wants to deny God’s right to tell us what to do. So, with the truth in front of them, many people turn away and refuse to see it. Atheist Thomas Nagel has said, “It isn’t just that I don’t believe in God and, naturally, hope that I’m right in my belief. It’s that I hope there is no God! I don’t want there to be a God; I don’t want the universe to be like that.” Second, Romans 1 states that God has “made [God’s nature] plain to them.” In other words, God has taken the initiative to make His truth known to everyone. History has proved this since time began, as every people group has sought some understanding of a Creator to whom they owe allegiance. Such knowledge is an integral part of what it means to be created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Romans 1:20 then says that “people are without excuse.” And to whom would they give such an excuse? The very One who says He has made Himself known to them, if they would only humble themselves and accept such revelations. God judges each of us according to the truth He has given us, and Romans 1 states that we each have enough truth to turn toward rather than away from Him. When answering the question “how can a loving God send someone to hell?” another facet of God’s nature comes into play. God is not only love, but He is perfect justice as well. Justice requires adequate payment for crimes committed. The only just punishment for high treason against our perfect Creator is eternal separation from Him. That separation means the absence of goodness, light, relationship, and joy, which are all facets of God’s nature. To excuse our sin would require God to be less than just, and to allow sin-tainted humans into His perfect heaven would render that place less than perfect. That’s why only the perfect Son of God could go to the cross in our place. Only His perfect blood was an acceptable payment for the debt we each owe God (Colossians 2:14). When we refuse Jesus as our substitute, we must pay the price ourselves (Romans 6:23). God gave us the freedom to choose how we respond to Him. If He forced us to love Him, we would be robots. To give us no option but obedience would be a violation of our free will. Love is only love when it is voluntary. We cannot love God unless we have the option of not loving Him. Because God honors our autonomy, He will never force surrender or loyalty. However, there are consequences for either choice. C. S. Lewis summarizes this truth in his classic work, The Great Divorce: “There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, in the end, ‘Thy will be done.’ All that are in Hell, choose it.”

    Our inherent sin nature vs our new nature To follow Christ and serve God are continually at odds with each other. All of us can relate to the Apostle Paul’s description of this inner struggle. Like Paul, we all do things in a moment, or for a season of time that conflicts with our new identity in Christ. We sin because we want to but as Christians it eats at our mind and heart because we want to be obedient to God but always fall short

    Dear brothers and sisters, Stating that the prosperity gospel is a false gospel is NOT the same as saying that God won’t prosper His people. God blessed His people every day, Jew and Gentile alike. The problem is there is NO such thing as a prosperity gospel, because we are never told to believe in Jesus and He will make our lives smoother, more successful and pour money into our bank accounts. This is the gospel the faith preachers sell even though they are the ones sitting at the top of the pyramid scheme. The true gospel says to repent of our sins and believe on the Lord Jesus for salvation. Jesus promised that trials and persecution would come as a result of placing our faith and trust in Him. Does God bless his children? Yes. Does this have anything to do with salvation or the biblical gospel message? Absolutely not.

    It's choice. If you can make a choice to be saved why wouldn't choice be the basis to lose it? Why does Paul, Peter, and other disciples in lncluding Timothy warn about damnation. That seems very strange. Paul also included many if statements. There's so many problematic verses. Jesus said many in that day will try to get into the gates based on a false profession. If you have rejected God but don't want hell you will end up doing the same thing. If you have decided to reject salvation then that's which way you are heading. You have to then tackle Hebrews which basically describes this. It is by God's grace people continue but the thing argued in hebrews is exactly to reject grace. I think people angry in traffic are not generally mad at Jesus Christ for traffic they just wish it was different. It's another thing to be convicted and say goodbye to the faith. Putting faith in pride seems unfixable.
