Woke Harley-Davidson keeps building weaker and weaker Motors the Evolution motor was the best motor they ever made they had to get rid of it because it was too good their service mechanics had no work to do so now they build stuff that's built in redundancy just like the cam shoes that you said needed to be replaced the adjusters they're junk you got a tear them apart of 50,000 Mi for a place unless you do the Gear Drive a high-volume oil pump you might as well go with the big jug kit at that point too

If it don't run right after removing baffles, the carb isn't tuned right. I've never had a bike run crappy after removing baffles or switching to straight pipes. Been riding since the 80s.

Don't feel bad, one time I shook 10 pieces of a cast iron valve guide outta my 67 Shovelhead muffler.

The real issue is, it's a Harley. They've figured out the most efficient way to turn gasoline into noise, without the side effect of horsepower. My opinion is relative though. I'm all about 2 stroke whips. My NSR and YSR are comically small compared to my 6'2" ogre behind. My FJR and ZX6R do it right though. 150k and counting on the FJR.

Youre going to run lean now. You need yo ho get a fuel pack so you can adjust your fuel air ratio otherwise youll lose top end and your head temps are gunna get higher than they should be.
