A Day at Huntington Library
Просмотров 383 месяца назад
Just a day of good vibes :) Needed some test footage for teaching myself how to work with C-Log 3 Cinema Gamut footage, and decided to spend a lovely day relaxing and enjoying Huntington while capturing some. Some super bad "stabilizing" in this, but this is truly just a coloring test so tbh I don't really care lol. Camera: Canon R6 Lens: Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 Filters: Tiffen GlimmerGlass 1, T...

Made this for a scrapped 2021 recap video, but to be honest I’m still pretty proud of it, so enjoy! 😊 (The first repedative 8 notes were originally simply so I could hit play and hide my phone out of the framing before the shot would begin!)

Reading Your Lovely Comments to my Grandmother ❤️
1:35 i would like u to know that so called Hinduism which is whitewashed version of brhaminism(bhramins that r priests, self claimed higher caste who tried to control the subcontinent population, still trying to, despite being the minority) is hijacked from bodh dharam (initial stages of non idolized version of buddhism),other tribal religions that were present in the huge subcontinent. lots of buddha's statues in the south Asia were demolished and uprooted or modified to current day god, goddesses of "hinduism" this were done by the bhramins, even universities run by the disciples of buddha were demolished, taking everything out of the universities and even the teachers ,so that there couldn't be any non idiolized version of education,so lot of disciples moved to central, east ,southeast asia for their safety, then it became idolized version which is now what we know as buddism, also the bhramins did change/bury a lot of ancient texts, historical texts that would make them look bad, part of history from the subcontinent is missing, and the priest class were successful to spread the narrative that hinduism is an ancient religion but its not,the first mention of vedas was in 11th century and the language that were written were the language not older than 10 or 8 th century ,so not from 3000-5000 bc as the bhramins tried to claim and by the texts they wrote for hindu texts, they were successful up until now as new archaeological findings r coming up regularly that defies what they tried to claim
Those are great!! 😂😂
I saw a whole collection of this movie's review, and you were one of the very few to justify and talk about all the politics and stuff the movie tried to represent mate!! Great, keep going!!❤🥃🥃
also true that there is this whole discrimination thing going mainly because of "caste discrimination" created by the brahminism. (before getting into solely attacking or criticizing this comment, do a little research from the right resources please.)
Extremely well done. Proud to have you as my student. 👏👏👏
This is so good!!! Beautiful!!!
I’m so glad that your back is feeling better and that you got to go out and have a beautiful day, sweetheart! I love your video, and I love that you just enjoyed being there, just being present where you were. That is so important and healthy. ❤️❤️❤️ -mom
Well at least finish the 2023 Malaysia vlogs :P
Honestly you should do more movie reviews. You have done a handful in the past 10 years and this is by far your best.

Chris Howard!! Oh my gosh!!
I have watched several 20+ minute videos on Monkey Man. This one beat them all! Great, great job!
i get where you're coming from but i do want to caution you from entirely blaming the british colonizers for the transphobia in india. while the hijra community has held cultural significance due to a combination of mythological stories and specific social roles that only the hijra community can fulfill, the community has faced ostracization due to the brahminical caste system for centuries before the british colonized india. the british introduced a specific kind of morality that perhaps worsened this ostracization but it is important to know that undoing the colonial laws is not enough to erase the discriminatory practices in indian culture (which is in turn informed by brahminical practices). that's also what the movie is implying. they are not targeted minorities solely due to colonialism, they are minorities because the hindu caste system deems it so.
Dude every evil in India is not related to "Hindu caste system". Something we must take responsibility ourselves not our ancestors. And don't portray yourself better than any other Indian, you are also the same, in India now every caste celebrates their caste, even lower caste because of reservation. Still there is caste divide and superiority complex but in many regions the picture has turned upside down and inside out. Something about your tone in your comment did not settle well with me hence the long reply. Lol
I guess you are British learned colonial history there, so you won't know the fact that we also blame British for Hindu Muslim divide, that now the BBC chastise Indian government for. But politicians are not social reformers so I guess that's why such divide still fosters and it will never cease because the British carved out Muslim Pakistan and Bangladesh which should never have been. I guess you will never find out because in your eyes all morality emanates from queen (protector of Christianity).
Wow, Chris, thank you!! What was very good!!
Great video.
Great research and analysis!
Lol there are a lot of cults in SoCal.

Trash cans are my best friends...
I'll be completely honest I think there's a time for the cinematic vlogs but also a time for the more personal vlogs. I think the Malaysia vlogs worked well being cinematic but I completely understand why you would want a more personal feel. These are memories that you are filming that you want to keep forever. I think it all depends on where you are located and who you are with. The past 7 years I've enjoyed both kinds you have put out.
you kind of remind me of a better version of Sheldon on the The Big Bang series .Much cooler of course without his neurotic persona/ BTW this is meant as a compliment
it's always important to have time for yourself
love your appreciation of nature!
I love to walk around the neighborhood too, it is so refreshing and peaceful
