@@kendals3833 I truly believe it is all about your mindset! I don’t always easily do all the things I need to do. I get tired, I get discouraged, I get overwhelmed at times. But what matters is what you do with that. So whenever that happens to me, I pray for strength and motivation to be joyful, enthusiastic, and be my very best self for my children as a mother, and as their teacher as well. And God helps me! I feel strengthened and refreshed whenever I ask these things! Also, I too don’t always feel qualified to teach, but that simply isn’t true. If you have the desire, there will be a way! There are so so many resources for homeschool in our day. For example, we use a combination of 2 curriculums, My Father’s World, which allows you to combine multiple ages/grades. So I use this for Bible, History/Geography, science, and art. For math and language arts subjects, our older kids do online school through Abeka while I teach the younger one separately. This works wonderfully for us! We are able to spend a lot of time learning together, but also making sure the older kids have independent learning time on their grade levels, and are being challenged enough and are growing and advancing in math and language. I definitely understand about teaching, cleaning, cooking, etc being A LOT for just one person to handle it all alone. It’s true! So in my family, we all have chores, responsibilities, roles and routines where my husband, children and I work together side by side as a team to have a happy, thriving, wonderfully functioning household. But that being said, I DO completely understand that this lifestyle is not possible for everyone, everyone has different circumstances. I don’t want you to feel bad about it, if it simply isn’t possible for you. As mothers, we do our best, love on our children, pour into them and do everything in our power to ensure we raise happy, healthy, thriving future adults. So whatever that looks like for you in your current life situation, keep doing your best and your children will love you for it, even if homeschooling is not a possibility for you. Blessings! @@stacysmith4087 so starting a sourdough starter will simply take: Flour Water That’s it! You will need to “feed” it every few hours (flour and water) and discard some, feed, discard, etc. over the course of a week. But it’s simply 2 ingredients to start one: flour and water, that’s it! @@stacysmith4087 thank you! 😊 Of course! I just put some dish soap (I use Seventh Generation) on a sponge, sponge down the whole area getting it all soapy, then wipe it with a towel/rag that’s damp. That’s it! So simple and works so well 🙌🏻

My children are already in bed at this time. And yes, taking care of children, homemaking and cooking and baking from scratch is HARD. It takes hard work, discipline, and patience. It is not an easy task. But it is the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done in my life, personally. I get to care for my family with my own hands. Create a cozy environment for them, make nourishing meals for them. I choose to do this, out of my love for them. I used to work and I was miserable because I missed my kids. All I wanted was to be home with them. I truly am sorry that you had a bad experience, and I hope things get better for you🙏🏻
