I've still not played The Last Guardian, any of the Nier games, The Bouncer, either Horizon game, either Gravity Rush game, Death Stranding, or any Uncharted games, yet - they just sit on my shelf, staring at me. Never heard of Sky Odyssey, either! Great list though, bud - well explained, too.

@tonyfighter2 Cheers bud, thanks a lot for watching 🍻
Gladiator 2 ? Oh nice i liked the first one and the soundtrack was amazing 😊❤
You should watch it lovely. If you liked the first one, this is a worthy successor 👌
I’m so excited to watch this 🤩
@tonyfighter2 Glad to hear it bud. It's a great epic historical action film that rarely gets produced these days on this scale and it was truly a treat to see Ridley Scott return to this story.
Smashed by what? I hear "Sanator 2" but no idea what that is. I made a censorship deep dive video which tries to neutrally highlight the changes and possibilities why they occurred, played through the game multiple times. Game deserves full price. Already spent $160 ish on it, will buy again on PC release. I got the digital deluxe and physical copies plus OST. Waiting for a sale? We need to give these guys more money to make a better prequel or sequel. It's straight out a game. Doesn't feel like it's trying to teach you anything. Just have fun. Story is only 30% of the consideration actually. It takes very little brain power to know where everything is going. But the director said it was on purpose for you to enjoy the protagonists journey. Still would love to see a version 1.5 expanding on the world. Add one more open area to bridge that sudden ramp up that lands once you go to spire. To me the games story isn't about the main campaign or player at all. But lies within those struggling to survive or even define who they are on an otherwise scorched Earth. I want more arcs like Su! The OST includes 189 tracks . That's insane for a game that's like 30 hours to complete! Worth hirez from qobuz. Sounds amazing on HD800 headphones. Some of the reoccuring themes in context is great. The decisions made to portray the situations are really well done. Like the optional encounter with the Elder Nativa. Knowing not just "here is a boss" but what it means to be fighting it makes the sound track hit even harder. And some people will have finished and shelved the game without ever hearing it! It does feel like they borrowed from Sephiroth but with one of the themes used throughout this game instead. The playlist is available by Shift Up on RUclips. I'll highlight these four tracks: Flooded Commercial Sector Key to the Future Elder Nativa Lost Memories All using the same theme but in different context. You can just about taste the atmosphere. Other songs depicting innocence to insane, another just the state of emptiness, that there was lost struggles etc. It all works. It sounds be OST of the year as it's new (not unique though, it's basically Nier). But overshadowed by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth which is revisiting themes established back in the 90s, so may also play into nostalgia as well as just being generally more well known. Gameplay is solid. I think the game achieved the 70% gameplay focus it aimed for. Personally I liked the struggle at first, building up to full power. Being maxed out is still fun but alarmingly easy compared to when you start a new save. People oogling over the character design is unavoidable. But I saw the first scene as like, Eve being "born". You can then tell something isn't right if you just look at the dead bodies in the ground... I mean. Why are there two other bodies that look identical to Eve? And then she has never experienced basic things like seeing rain, books or musical instruments. I hope they never give her an age. Let the player decide if she is 0 years old (a female terminator fresh out of a factory), 25 years old (human, cybernetic inplants), or several hundred (built or infused with ancient lost and overpowered technology, the female doomguy) The contrast here should simply be viewed as beauty/innocence vs monstrosities. The game itself never sexualises her. Yeah there are swimsuits, but that's at least a player choice. In the game one person addresses her as "honey" and she reacts by saying not to. Another where an NPC played a joke and she just responded by saying she'll cut that person up if they try anything like that again. And when you play your focus will be focused on the grotesque enemies, poverty esque dirty, in rags survivors and machines much more than your player character anyway.
@zedamex I said this game was smashed as a top game of the year contender for me by Silent Hill 2 and that's because I'm a massive Silent Hill fan and I was always going to adore a remake of my favourite game of all time more than Stellar Blade, but I love Stellar Blade nonetheless. I bought the game at full price my dude, and I do not regret it as it is an amazing experience. I don't believe I've said anything to the contrary. Yes, the music is stunning and I listen to it almost daily on Spotify. I've never had a problem with beautiful women being in games. Eve is sexualised but it doesn't offend me because I am a straight guy and I find it appealing. But seriously, Eve is obviously sexualised but sex is not bad. 😂
@@smaug_237 to me "sexualized" requires actual content that focuses on that. Here the game completely ignores her really. You could replace the model for a fully decked out army dude and not need to change any of the character interactions. Now a game like Senran Kagura, featuring scenes where anime girl can get thrown against a wall and all her clothes just explode, with camera angles zooming in on T&A as clothes tear or they power up like a magical girl transformation, that's what I would call sexualized. Difference between a sex icon and being sexualized.
@zedamex Eve is the epitome of the human perception of beauty as she is designed to be the perfect physical specimen. Having just achieved the platinum for the game and spent 83 hours playing it, I can say that the is a lot of focus on the aesthetic aspect of Eve's character from the camera angles to the interactions with the citizens of Zion. This is a positive to me to have control of a strong, powerful and beautiful women rather than take control of a masculine man of the military which I am quite honestly bored of.
@@smaug_237 yeh 150 hours here too. Just one journal entry I haven't found yet. It's all manga style epic camera angles to me. I like the explanation behind her strength. At least enough for you to imagine why she's as strong as she is. Definitely Korean beauty. If you look up Korean beauty standards and plastic surgery it's like they all modify towards what Eve looks like. No complaints here and I'd be lying if I said her design didn't catch my initial attention to the game. But it was the look of the bosses, the music and the sci fi theme as to why I actually bought it. Like I chose Unreal Tournament over Counter Strike. I like games as we can be, see, explore the impossible. Oh Silent Hill is great. Loved the first game and the room, I should really play the others
@zedamex yes mate, I agree that the sci-fi themes are very alluring and the questioning of purpose alongside the nature of the war that is being fought. I got reminded of one of my favourite animes, Ghost in the Shell. Eve drew a comparison in my mind to Motoko Kusanagi as she questions her duty after being steadfast and determined in what must be done. Yes mate, Silent Hill 2 is another amazing game that I definitely recommend, especially for this time of year.
Game hasn't dropped in price yet, holding out for a price drop off it ever comes
Yeah it will drop mate. I got it because I typically love Eastern action-RPGs like the Nier series and I saw that this was highly influenced by it and the trailers really sold me on it. I don't buy loads of games as soon as they are released (I waited about a month for this one) but I always ask myself if I really want the game before I purchase it. I also am a gamer that resides exclusively on PS5 as it caters to my tastes the most and I've had that family of systems for a long time so no expenses put into other gaming eco-systems like Xbox or Nintendo.
I love Alien Isolation, even if it did scare the crap out of me haha
Haha it is an amazing game, I've been getting into the spooky season mood and just got the platinum trophy for this one as I am a big fan of the franchise, and Romulus was awesome in cinemas
Ah what a song bro 👌 👏
Duuuuuude, this’s freaking AWESOME, I absolutely love it, you did a great job on this!👌🏻😁💯
Cheers bud, thanks for watching it :) This particular scenario reminded me of the iconic scene in Raiders and I knew I had to capture it 😂
@@smaug_237 no problem, and yeah, it’s definitely reminiscent of Raiders of the Lost Ark!👌🏻💯
