Hello I am based in Toyama. Toyama is located in Honshu ( the main island ) . Toyama is a small city . I love that it’s closer to Tokyo and Osaka and it’s easier to travel
Loool but would you suggest getting sneakers from South Africa or it's just the same buying them from there.

Hello. Unfortunately you don’t . During your interview they will check your personality etc and that will determine where you are placed
It’s almost the same as South Africa, grocery is expensive in South Africa nowadays

hahahahha yes! Google Translate! DeepL is nice because it picks up the nuances of languages well. I think Japanese people use DeepL more than English natives.

Very very helpful recommendations! Yes, Google Translate and Maps are must-haves for sure. It's also important to actually download Japanese in the Google Translate app so you can use it even without an internet connection in case of emergencies.

this is one of the best apartments I have seen, the finishes are so modern. I have just been accepted to the program would be interested to know in what prefecture this and is this the apartment given to you by the program or if its one you found privately also is it a leopalace. Thanks for the video, I had exhausted nearly every other apartment tour on youtube 😂
Hello 😊 Congratulations for making it into the program. This is Toyama Prefecture and my school found this apartment for me . They looked for it and sent me pictures and asked if I liked it . Most japanese apartments are not modern but your school will always ask for your approval before they take a lease Thank you so much for your compliment. I appreciate it so much 😃

Thank you for all this information💕 For the accommodation part, does the school help you find the accommodation atleast? I imagine its hard finding accommodation as a foreigner that’s just arrived? Can you please explain the part of what happens after you leave the hotel they’ve paid for?
Yes the school help you find the accomodation before you arrive in Japan . After leaving the hotel you go to your apartment
