Great demonstrarion. I love that you go continuously from one patch to the next, evolving the sound continuously. I absolutely love the patch at 13:20, with the tang followed by the S&H. Do you use different envelopes for the two components of that sound?

@@telantas Thank you! That’s My goal with this videos, to show a real workflow on a synth. And answering your question, I do not use different envelopes, just the ADSR for the filter!

nord sound is crazy good, hey; you need to turn up the volume if your going to record something, this video is way too quiet, I can barely hear the audio even with my computer volume way up.

This is an excellent jam. What is your impression of the K2700 as compared to your Nords?
@@RingingShears It is a wonderful keyboard which allows you very deep programing (much better than my nord Electro 6D). On the other side, its learning curve is more intense than the nord keyboards that have a “note per function” programming style. But still, with a bit of patience you can learn the K2700’s interface easily and use It in every enviroment!

how did you get the exact instrumental synthesizer instrument sound as they use in The Beatles' original Because? it sounds very nice, by the way. may I ask the names of the synthesizers that you used to cover this song please? I'm interested in playing as well 🙂.
Hi! For this cover I used a Nord Electro 6D to play te harpsichord and the Electric guitar sound layered. The little synth is a Yamaha Reface DX, and it’s really not the best synth to play this because it is FM based. To make the sound I played with the carriers and modulators to get a sawtooth wave, although with a subtractive analog synth (such as a moog) it would have been easier and more accurate!

Reminds me of the movie Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978) Peter Frampton, Bee Gees, George Burns, and so many more. While the song Because was in the movie, there was a different number that used similar sounding synth voices for the robots singing in the scenes. Great musical movie, with a fun and interesting fantasy story line, LOTS of stars and famous bands and musicians like Aerosmith, Earth Wind and Fire, Billy Preston, Steve Martin, Donald Pleasence, Stargard, Alice Cooper, and more. Everyone should check it out!
