Well, I just kept programming them with one controller. Not sure there’s actually a limit. Maybe I should do a “how many cars can I ghost race?” video.

@THEWASHBOARDCHANNEL Carrera says the limit is 6 racers so I thought you were able to ghost race 7 cars with 7 remotes.

@@AutismApostle The limit for racers and controlled cars is 6. Only 6 remotes for 6 cars. I believe two got cars with six cars puts a car 7 and car 8 on the position tower. Last night I was messing around. I ran 10 cars all in ghost mode. However, it was pure chaos, even on my 130 foot track. I have too many lane changers to monitor the crashes, lol. If I had the cash, i'd buy the switch anti- collision chips to kill the switches when cars approach in both lanes.

Oh, by far it is not a fail really.. I’m that much closer to success lol. It’s just that my track is raised so if a car deslots in certain areas it can hit the floor.

I searched for info on a "reissue of the digital 132 F1s" and can't find anything. I'm curious though. Can you share some more info?

@ hi mate I’m in Australia and was looking at future releases from Mr slot car Melbourne They are meant to arrive mid November They stated that this is a limited run of these cars so people need to order before they sell out I’ve seen them for pre order on a couple of other sites as well Under future releases 👍

Thank you very much! I use it still, and a lot. It can be great for truing the tires as well using sanding boards from the hobby shop.

I used the chassis from two Carrera Camaro Pace Cars. The bodies come from some 2007 Mattel Speed Racer movie remote control toys. The Mach 5 is pretty easy to find on ebay, but the Shooting Star, not so much. The wheel base of the pace car is near perfect for both with the least amount of mods on the Shooting star. I change and strengthen the body mounting points, add Led lights to the Carrera Decoder circuits, Tune the chassis by shimming the magnets close to the track, add some trued Ortmann tires, and viola! The lights on the mach five were a bit more tricky. I happened upon another mattel toy Mach 5, one that ejects a round ball with speed racer in it, that was the same size (almost). It had light lenses! so I pulled them, modified the RC Mach % chassis and added them to it. I have since sold the two matching cars as they were a bit larger than 132. (The camaro pace car is an odd size too.) Anyway, a collector had to have them, so i let them go once I figured out the smaller three, the Mach 5, Racer X, and Snake Oiler cars. Eventually I'' get the modification videos up. Been super busy.

Wow. Sorry. I haven't been able to reply until recently. There's so many to choose, but for me, rule of thumb, make sure it has the wireless controllers. There are a couple sets with 3 cars, which is a good deal. Look for the longest track too. That being said, there's some savings to be had in purchasing used sets. Many times the owners have added track and accessories, such as a pit lane. Big savings in many instances, however, most used sets will have cars with bad tires. Before you get frustrated with the performance, immediately find some polyurethane tires, either from Paul Gage or, my favorite, Ortmann tires from Germany and a seller named r-s-rennenbahnen. Sorry so late with this.

I’m a huge F1 fan. I picked up six carrera Digital 143 cars from a source in Germany. On the D132 track it will run six cars and utilize the switch tracks and the pit lane. I swapped the chip from one to an Ocon BWT Go F1. The Go cars are better with the larger tires. The older D143 F1s have ground clearance issues, but work ok. Thanks for subscribing.

@@MostlyCarreraWithkenWash I really like the the new F1 cars, I've seen videos of the older F1's and they definitely sit a bit weird on the track. I dont have the space or budget for a big 1/32 digital layout, but ive been getting a whole lot of extra track pieces especially the different corner types and even the crossover corner pieces to make an exciting 1/43 layout (especially compared to the standard sets that are in boxes).

The problem is the cost involved. The Mach 5 is easier to come by, but the Mattel RC car I use can run anywhere from 14.00 to 45.00 +. The pace car is 50.00, then there's lights and time. The Shooting star is much harder to find, so 50.00 + and the pace car another 50.00+, lights time etc. The two in the video I did sell. Extremely nice cars with good mods, in cases with nameplates. sold the set for 240.00 + shipping. Litterally made my money back, but it was more about getting a guy some sweet one of a kind cars. (for now, one of a kind)

the table is 7.5 feet deep by 20 long, give or take a couple areas that are extended.

As I understand it, the recessed areas are where the injection mould leaves the residual material. Having it in the low area would mean less precise processing, maybe saving a step of final machining. The dimples are much less of a problem with the factory tires. It's when you put on a pair of performance tires that it seems to make a big difference.

No Sir. The tire grips the same, it just doesn't touch the wheel in the center. I've done this with most of my GT cars and it has helped immensly.
