Hai mr larry, can you show how to get certified on your next video... or some reference how to get it.. many people doesnt understand the flow how to get certified.
My students get certified through Certiport. They pay the exam fee and get a voucher code. We have the certification exams loaded on our class computers. Students create a Certiport account and the purchased voucher code allows them to sign in to take the exam. The voucher gives the student 2 chances to pass the exam. I believe there are also testing centers that you can go to for taking the exams as well. Check out Certiport on the internet for more information. Hope this helps.

My tiger is moving backwards please help
A couple of things you could try is: 1. In the drive angle, click the backward arrow and it will move forward in your case. or 2. Edit the motion contraints so the gears turn in the opposite direction.

Hey, when you select 912 are you changing the gradient of the slope? If so, what measurement is that in? As my revit is set to mm. I also need to create this using just 3 walls instead of 4 as my building is an outhouse/ garage. Thank you.

I almost completed the same projct but i think there r a lot of errors in project! How u can see there r a lot of interference!!!!! pinion is inside the gear....the bottom of gears r in the chess... omg

scuseme but the two gear rotate in wrong way! If pinion rotate clockwise the other gear should rotate anticlockwise! Why didn t correct this??
I followed the directions from the book. I realize books are not always correct. Also, the words are "excuse me." Why didn't correct this!!??
@@LessonswithLarry scuse for what??? I know that book, it s very good ok, but there r a lot of design and dimensional error...(example G1 has not bearing! (G1 and G3 have different angular speed...). Anyway the book is not the bible and when errors are found it is right to point them out when the intent is informative. Ve a good time

I have built this twice, I followed your tutorials to remake most of the parts and your update video on editing some of the parts. And I cannot get past the linkage rods they will not mate. I do not know what to do. I have tried some other constraints. Nothing is fixing it.

I had to remake my shaft hex and G3 Spur gear.. I got to that point in the video and my shaft wouldn’t mate properly. Not sure which part was not good lol Ty for your videos

Hey, I hope your day is going well. I have one issue with the assembly and I hope you can answer. I put the gears to the tee of how you did them in your video of the gearbox, but the G3 gear is rotating faster than it should be. In fact, it's going relatively the same as the G1. Is there a way to fix this so that the G3 is rotating at the slow speed it should be rotating.
Make sure the gear ratio the G1 gear ratio is 0.2 and the gear ratios for the G2 and G3 is 0.286
I has the same problem, you have to make sure you select the g2 gear before the g3 gear when making the constraint

what do i do if the diameter symbol doesnt pop up in the dimensioning? i tried the alt+0216 to put the symbol into the dimension but it says the expression cannot be evaluated.
Try this, "Note you must use the numbers from the numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard. Press and hold ALT key, type in 0216 and then let go of the ALT key." Hope that helps.

Do you know what would cause the G1 gear to not rotate with the pinion gear? I followed everything as you did it but only the pinion spins.
I would say make sure you don't apply too many constraints to the G1 gear so that it's not free to rotate. Make sure it's not grounded. When using the motion constraint, be sure to select both gears.
Without you I wouldn't have passed the exam🙏🏽

My pinion gear clips into my g1 spur gear, why do you think it's doing that. Even after perfectly aligning before applying the motion.
I can’t be sure without seeing it in action. The gears are a tricky beast for sure.

I redid this one again and came up with a volume of 7.371 in^3.

How did you drag and reposition that center rectangle? Even after hitting escape I can't select it
I'm guessing you mean where I used the coincident constraint. After selecting the coincident constraint, I selected the midpoint of the horizontal line and then selected the origin.
