If you need more books to read and want to make this a more regular thing, Project Gutenberg only has public domain books. I understand if you prefer physical copies but they're all free. I know they have a couple different versions of the Grimm fairytales, but I'm sure there's more that will suit the format. There's also Global Grey eBooks, which I just checked before recommending, and they're also all public domain books and free. I'm pretty certain that amongst the like 20k books they have, some are collections of short stories. No harm in you or a mod giving it a quick look. Either way, as a relatively new vod frog, I enjoyed story time with dad.

2:47:36 is not poison, is frenzy virus. You get inflicted by it via the armor or a shagaru/gore/chaotic gore magala inflicted you with it. The way to beat it (temporarily in your case because you have the skill bloodlust due to your armor) is to hit the monster until you beat the damage check. If you don't beat it you will get negative affinity, and you wont have red health to recover if hit by a monster. If you beat the frenzy, you get increased affinity and all your red health is instantly recovered no matter what. And now for some disturbing lore: the frenzy is caused by a shagaru/gore/chaotic gore magala cumming on you😅😅😅. This is only on technicality, as the magala family doesn't reproduce by having sex, but by spores that infect other living animals (not plants). This virus makes animals go crazy and have an insane bloodlust, which makes them stronger and sturdier, but they eventually will die and from their corpes a gore magala will be born (which is the baby version of a shagaru magala, the elder dragon). Chaotic gore magala is a unique case; this is a gore magala that was about to evolve into a shagaru magala but midway got infected by the frenzy virus by another shagaru magala. This leaves the gore magala in a state of half evolution; half shagaru and half gore. Due to suffering from the virus, chaotic gore magala is in constant pain, which makes him erratic, that's why when you fight one you'll see that he makes animations that resemble attacks from the other two (shagaru and gore) but end up being totally different attacks, and that makes his fight ✨️chaotic✨️. It is said that killing a chaotic is actually merciful, as it is the only way it can get rid of its insufferable pain.
