Chicken Shawarma |Garlic Sauce | Spicy Red Sauce | Homemade|
Homemade Chicken Shawarma - chicken marinated in Mediterranean spices, skewered and slow cooked in the oven brings out authentic shawarma flavour.
Served in a pita wrap with creamy garlic white sauce, hot sauce and pickled vegetables for that true middle-eastern inspired take-out shawarma experience at home.
Shawarma Chicken Marinade:
2 pounds chicken thighs, pounded or sliced very thin
1 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 tablespoon cumin
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
Marinate for 4-6 hours or overnight
Cook in the oven at 200...

Yes, you can make them in the pan too. For that tandoori chicken flavour oven works best.

Two questions; 1) how many mini pizzas can be made with this dough? 2) if I use the same dough for making regular pizza then approx. what would be it's size?
1. With this dough, you can easily make 10 mini pizzas. You can double the recipe to make more mini pizzas 2. it would be 10 -12 inch pizza
