    Thank you for this! It was hard to find a video that explained the changes. I managed to get through DAS for my daughter online after two weeks of being on it constantly. It was so stressful. I managed to get through and am so happy, the line waiting really would be a struggle. I agree with the life long DAS pass. Now that they are being more strict with it, it seems to relate more to people who will not out grow their disabilities. How did you plan waiting for the next ride? Did you set a timer, or wait until after the ride? I might have to look at what is available in each land to do while we wait.

    I feel like because people on the Internet is so used to hearing abt entitled parents with their kids on planes that their first knee-jerk reaction to this mother is “you’re an entitled parent who thinks the world revolves around your kid and I hate you” but if you really think abt it, people’s number one argument against her is “you know your kid have a disability, so you should’ve paid extra for a seat that could accommodate for that” ….but she did? airplane seats can recline, that’s part of the feature and what u paid for. If she pays for a seat that could recline, she have a right to recline that seat. The lady with the knee problem is the one that should’ve paid for a seat with extra legroom so it wont bother her. I do think it sucks that airline make seats so close together that reclining became invasive to the person behind you but there’s not much this mother can do abt that.

    The plane should not have seats that recline. I think it’s wrong to push your seat all the way back. But. The designer of the plane shouldn’t have made it that way. Because of course people say. Well. I paid for the seat I’ll use it the way it’s meant to be used and if it goes back that far I have a right to put it back that far. It all boils down to this. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you don’t want them leaning back into your space then think before you do it to someone else.

      When you pay for reclining seats then a complete stranger demands you don’t use the feature, it’s your fault???? The other person was the one with the problem since her personal needs for extra legroom would require her to be seated where there were no reclining seats within a certain distance from her. This mother only needed her child to be able to use the seat in the way it was designed to be used. The other person should have paid for an exit row ticket or first class if she can’t handle having “neighbours”

  • @samanthaemm3854
    @samanthaemm3854 2 месяца назад

    I actually don't really know how to feel about this if you have a kid that has special needs you need to book plane tickets that will accommodate him if the person behind you is having issues themselves with knee problems then it's almost like you're both in the wrong. You should have bought an area of the plane where you could place your son or he could recline or be comfortable anyway he wanted without interrupting anybody else's flight. And that woman should have also booked like a front seat or a backseat or something where nobody could put their seat back to hurt her knees. This is very conflicting it's just like I don't know what to do you also by the way you said what you said sounded like you were very rude to her and she was very rude back this is a very crappy situation but I think both are in the wrong.

    • @patriciaferraro4189
      @patriciaferraro4189 2 месяца назад

      She paid for a reclining seat and the other passenger stopped her from using the feature so, if anyone needed more than what they paid for it was the other person. This mother isn’t responsible for a complete stranger’s poor planning skills and sense of entitlement to better accommodations than what was purchased. If she needed more legroom, she should have paid for better seats. Meanwhile, the right to recline the seat you paid for to its full potential is well within a passenger’s rights and perfectly reasonable

      @bwanabeast3169 2 месяца назад

      @@patriciaferraro4189 I am sure the mother made a big deal over it vs the child. Again the mother could have set up accommodation and if they could have not been met she would know there is a chance of being selfish. Couldn’t switch seats with her child either? The other person didn’t know a kid with disabilities (that won’t be shared, which is fine) in front of her. Again why is the kid on a flight at hour 16? Can’t be much time left, play a game and they will sleep in the car. Reclining seats is frowned on now as airlines try to add more rows. This is a social understanding.

      100 with you you should watch the latest video she's definitely trying to make a profit off this child it's very sad and she's doing all the wrong things I'm also a mother of a child with down syndrome I know that everybody is different but I also know that there are certain triggers and certain things and it's almost like she puts in through them to get a reaction to put on a video.

    This is a very beautiful video 😊 I'm a high functioning autistic boy and, while I have developed very good comunication skills to experience the movie theaters like everyone else, I still appreciate how this kid is able to enjoy the movies with his own methods and staying calm and serene. 😊 This video could help a lot of people who have trouble communicating. ❤ You have my respect 🎉
