Hi, we got this raleigh moped about 3 and a half years ago, i had quick look at the time and there was no spark so i put it away. I bought some spares, coil, chains,cables, bits i thought i'd need to get going.
So a few days ago i got it out and took another look, still no spark🤣
I took the flywheel off cleaned the points and all the electrical connections.
The carb was stripped and cleaned.
The last tax disc on the bike i think was 1971/2, so not run for a few years.
The plan is to clean it up and give it a mechanical overhaul over the next few months, not a shiny restoration.
This was the first start😀
