SURFACE | Lotus Esprit S1 (Blender Animation)
This is a Blender car animation with a Lotus Esprit S1, driving through a foggy mountain landscape.
Earlier this year, I began a tutorial series where I aimed to share some tips and insights into how I create my animations. Over the course of several videos, I walked through the process of building a landscape and then animating a car within it. The idea was to take you along step by step as I crafted my next video, and this is the final result.
During the development of this animation, a talented young musician reached out to me, proposing a collaboration. Although I hadn’t yet done collaborations on this channel, I had worked with other creatives on previous projects, and I always find it...

Tundra Gran Prix | Realistic Car Animation (Blender)
Просмотров 7 тыс.8 месяцев назад
In my new Blender car animation I have animated a race through a tundra landscape. The new Mercedes AMG GT 2024, a BMW M3 CS and an old Porsche 911 from 1993 are street racing on the highway. A few weeks ago I did a survey asking which animation you would like to see next and most of you voted for an animation of a car race. I've wanted to build and animate a tundra landscape for a long time an...

Awesome stuff. I'm in the process of trying to do something similar to practice speed ramping. How did you do the nice lens flare and get that glow. Cheers.
Thank you very much! I made the lens flares with an add-on called "flared" and the glow just with the glare node in the compositing tab. Wish you all the best and lots of fun with your project 🙂
@@enhancedsight Cheers, just getting frustrated with it now and looking up lens flare techniques.
@@dariussutherland1 normally people either use optical flares from copilot or flared from blendermarket. Optical flares makes sense if you want to use it outside of blender, but it's more expensive. Flared is cheap, but only in blender.
Your real life shots are also smooth and very creative. Decent work
Thank you very much. I also like to work with a real camera. CGI becomes interesting, if you want to show scenes that are not possible to shoot.
Hello, good evening. Can I replace all these masking knots with vertex paint or texture paint?
Yes, you can replace it 👍🏻
Is this suitable for i5 12400f with rx6600 32gb RAM ???
Yes, that should be possible depending on your scene. If your vram is too low, because you use lots of high Res textures for example, then just play around with the simplify option.
Excellent tutorials, hoping for more! <3
Thank you very much. Will upload a few more next year when I learnt enough new techniques and have time to make tutorials again
It's all about money~ There are a lot of merchants on RUclips these days. I wish RUclips would separate free and paid lectures. I'm annoyed by merchants~
You can do everything I show in this video without buying any addon. I even mentioned in the video that you can skip to the next chapter if you're only interested in the tutorial. Also, I hope you understand that it takes a lot of time to make a video like this, using my spare time. So I don't see any problem with including some affiliate links in the description that don't cost you anything extra, but I get a few bucks from them. Another option would be to not upload the videos on a free platform like RUclips and instead create a paid course or not make any videos at all. I want to make it accessible for everyone to learn Blender, so I upload it to RUclips, and some people can choose to support me.
this is masterpiece! 🔥🔥🔥can you make a tutorial for a cinematic camera angle?
Thank you very much. I already did a tutorial about camera animation in blender. Is there something specific you would like to know?
@@enhancedsight Great !, maybe in advanced techniques like Dolly zoom and Speed ramp 🙏🏻
@@navuel503 in the tutorial i showed how to speed ramp the camera in blender. Dolly zoom is basically when you zoom in the opposite direction of the camera movement (moving forward -> zoom out, moving backwards -> zoom in). I´m working on a new animation right now, but after i think about making a advanced camera tutorial. I make animations and then tutorials based on the comments/requests under the video, so comments like yours help me to understand what people need help with :)
Keep going with these tutorials because they are the best ones i ever seen, perfect speed , everyone can follow these tutorials, amazing work, thank you very much
Wow, thank you very much. Happy to hear that. I'll definitely keep them coming when I find something interesting to teach 😊
this works very well for matte metallic.tysm! ❤❤
Thank you. Glad it helped 😊
Will be reposting
Sure, just link my channel in the description and you can share it where you want 👍🏻
@@enhancedsight okay
@@enhancedsightdo you have Instagram account? I can add you as collab!
Hello! Can someone help me, is it possible to find this specific car?
Check the description 👍🏻
@@enhancedsight Oh sorry bout that cheers, thank you for the help! :)
@@LevelEron you're welcome 😊
reallly works! nice job!♥
Thank you!
Can you share the map you used in the video?
Unfortunately i can´t, because i used textures that i´m not allowed to share. But you can download the landscape models, also with the road, but without the textures frome my large scale landscape tutorial. You´ll find links for that in the description. You just have to add your own textures, but its already UV unwrapped.
@@enhancedsight oh I understand, thank you. I'm quite new to Blender, I looked for many different models but I couldn't find it. I guess I'll have to watch your tutorials and do it myself...
Thank you this was useful. Just wondering would you ever make a tutorial on how to make cars?
Glad it helped. Not planning to do a tutorial about car modeling. Most cars are available to buy online for a few bucks, so there is no need to spend days modeling the car.
broo could you do a car crash tutorial? perferably with Launch control addons?
I never animated a car crash to be honest 😁 I saw a few tutorials about how it works, but never tried it our.
@@enhancedsight Aw man, i was planning to animate a Car chase scene with a handful of police cars crashing all over the place
@@kraney195 sounds very cool, but unfortunately I don't have any tips or techniques for that one 😕
Very Cool! THX!
You're welcome 😊🙏🏻
How to get rid of blurry artefacts because or denoising? If you have it.. what is ypur render setting?
I would bump up the sample rate. It depends on what kind of artifacts you have, some are also cause by motion blur or something. You can also play around with the clamping values or try another denoising method. 1. Try to set the clamping value for direct light to 1 or 2 2. Try a different denoising method, for example Denoise in the compositing tab instead of optix or something 3. Bump up the sample rate
This is CGI ?? 😮❤
the level of details in this video is absolutely mind blowing. Awesome work and thank you for sharing a lot of insights in the tutorials sections on how you achieve such kind of animations.
Thank you very much 😊🙏🏻 I learnt so much from RUclips tutorials and am happy to give something back with the tutorials.

It should get 22M views and more not just 22K! Hellllooooooo Algorithm!! some good stuff are here to recommend! Nice Animation man you nailed it!
Haha, thank you very much 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You should give Octane for Blender a chance, your movies will get a huge bump in visual quality.
Thought about working with octane, but it feels like octane is more complicated and for the type of work I do cycles is enough. Maybe I'll check it out some time 👍🏻
This is amazing Thank you sir شكرا لك
Thank you 🙏🏻 glad it helped
😮😮😮
bro where do you all get these clips from?
Haha I make them myself 😊
Fantastic ❤❤
I couldn't see a "User Path" selection option in Select Animation. How can I get that? Using Blender 3.6.5 and LC version 1.2.0.
I use the same LC version, but blender 4.0. The user path option should be in the launch control tab as shown in the video. Try to update blender because some of the functions of the add-on maybe don't work in older version (just a guess). Let me know if that works otherwise I will try it myself 👍🏻
@@enhancedsight yup it fixed now, updated both LC and Blender.
@@Nikhilesh9807 perfect, good to hear 👍🏻
bro cooked
Thank you very much. Glad you liked it 😊🙏🏻
Hey brooo, please make a video how to make „headlights“ for Cars. Thank you very much
I love how you can do so much with the nodes. Also, I have a question, what about aircraft tyres, could I apply these nodes and tweak it a bit or is there another type of node to use for it.
Aircraft tyres have these gaps and if you don't want to model the gaps you can also use a gradient, then a colour ramp node to control it and then connect it to a displacement node.
I'm trying to learn Blender, but I jumped straight to my needs and projects, I need to create masks for terrain maps that isolate terrain features, such as rocks, snow, forest, etc. So far I'm pretty confused, this tutorial helped a lot, thank you, but I'm still not sure I can get results hahaha.
Thank you very much. If you're trying to mask out objects in blender then search for "holdout". It's just a button that you have to activate and then the objects get masked. I use it a lot because I alway render fog separately.
xD
you forget telling about that Creat plugin that you used for make vertxt color paint pls tell about that in comments
I did´t use any plugins here
Is there a fuller vid?
No, but I make new animations 👍🏻
The toughest part is the environment and optimising the scenes please make a tutorial on that part of the video rest all call me more or less can be made with a addon, please consider
What exactly do you want to know? About how I distribute my assets?
Hey how to use in rigged car ?
Sorry, I don't really understand your question. What do you want to know?
@@enhancedsight oh i mean i can use this add on on a car which is already been rigged ?
@@Bikkufootballtalks you should remove the rig first and rig it with the add-on again. That's very easy especially if everything is named correctly. If the add-on doesn't work because of how you named the meshes then you can name them automatically with a few clicks using the add-on.
Hi, where can i get that car model you used?
You can search it on blendermarket. They have lots of car models for a relatively cheap price.
