To answer your question, hartford has 8 of these new electric buses. New Haven Division has the most of them since their bus station/garage is a newer building, which that's enough to get the new electric bus charging equipment. BTW: The Stamford Division has 10 new EV buses, too.

@ElijahJohnson1997 I know. I keep checking back, and they still haven't done that yet. Also, I don't know who's in charge of doing so. Another note is that some of the XD40 buses should be on the retirement list since I saw on the news that a few of them have gotten involved with crash accidents.

The construction guy cutting into the high voltage wire reminds me of one place I worked at, where a maintenance guy there accidentally droped a piece of solder across a 480 volt buss. I wasn't there at that moment, but they said that you could see the flash several rooms away!
