Her range is a cross of the too, Anette wasn't so good at this since she broke her voice doing it. She did have a good recording of it, but it could've been better. Floors good Tarja's good and Anette's good just depends on the recording honestly, since some sound like crap due to distorted sound... :/

(correction: at least finnish people handle the grammar better than natives on average, not sure of other countries - but it's double-edged sword there, less and less people follow the official grammar today which we are taught at school)

And that was written drunk, too! But that's besides the point, english in the end is easy language to learn, and almost like native tongue for most people today, even if their pronounciation is still bad :) (in fact, it has been proven that in terms of grammar, most for whom english is second or even third language handle english better than natives today)

Even when considering the "bad quality" of the video soundstage for obvious reasons, I have to say she sings this one rather well. I'd like to hear some studio stuff soon though!

Besides your odd view of what sounds good, your English is REALLY good. I could never learn Finnish, not as well as you know English at least.

Anette constantly struggled with her voice, sometimes more than others, but she was ALWAYS off, both in timing AND in pitch. Oftentimes she just couldn't hit the right notes and sang them lower than they should be, or would just skip them altogether. Her voice, when in tune, was VERY plain. I've heard karoke singers do better than her. So yeah, sadly, I HAVE heard Anette, MANY times.

I had first heard of NW back around 2007, and checked out their Nemo video. I found them to be amazing. When I first landed on a live video of Anette, I said what the fuck is this shit, thinking I had found a cover band trying to perform NW I've followed them for a few years, finding the older videos with Tarja and listening to them many times. On occasion I'd give the new NW videos a try, and ALWAYS, every single time, Anette sucked ass and butchered even the NEW songs, never mind the old ones

You either heard Anette live only on her first shows on Nightwish, or never at all.

Not all of hopped on to the Floor-train, it's no joke - I for one don't like her sound in many Nightwish songs, some work well, GSL among others doesn't.

Huh? Anette couldn't even come close to performing half this good. Floor is right up there with Tarja in terms of delivery, stage presence, and outright passion. Anette was screaching trying to hit notes and would outright change the song since she couldn't sing it right.

I have to agree on that... It has always been since it was released and will always be. Floor was absolutely PERFECT yesterday there, I just couldn't hold tears back when she sang the final part...

Of course I don't know for sure but it looked that they could have filmed the gig in addition to just show the video screens.

Where you any near the stage that you know this? Even tho I saw the camera myself too, I think they were more likely used to project the images on the other side screens..

Yeah, the movie was kinda weird, but not bad I'd say. It's well done. Lots of visual metaphors, kinda surrealist. It's not a classic nor a hollywood big hit, but it's nice to watch.

In my opinion the movie was pretty bad, but that's just me. Too weird for me. But the gig was excellent!
