Umeme remains committed to enhancing the electricity network to meet the ever-growing demand for reliable power. Our recent investments include the construction of a new switching station in Matuga, aimed at improving operational efficiency and stability. Additionally, we have undertaken reliability enhancement works to establish a dedicated power feed for Lira Hospital, ensuring uninterrupted service to this critical facility. In collaboration with UETCL, we are also working to improve the quality and reliability of the power supply in key areas such as Gulu and Kabale, further strengthening the national grid and supporting regional development.
