Netting is a trip hazard for the passengers. Good riddance to all deck nets.
Why is a helideck net required? We do helideck inspections and nets are not always required.

Why is there no fire guard? I did not see them ground the helicopter either....is this standard???
The helideck is equipped with a fixed Fire Fighting Ring Deluge System including foam. This system activates automatically in case of a fire and can also be activated manually by the HLO or HDA. Before refuelling, the helicopter is connected to a ground cable (3:40).
@@mooi0003 good response. It is sometimes good practice to also have a fire guard on standby on the helideck.

@@tcomb2227 Probably not a sir, he's just a moron. The curve is even visible in this clip. And well, I've been to this platform a couple of times and as far as I know it refuels a lot there because of its remote location. And that compressed air smells a lot like kerosine to me. ;)

Nabil Lanang Depends on a heli and and how many pax there needs to go home, but normal it takes 10-12min.
Depends how fast you can turn the pump handle. One turn of the handle = 1L. That helicopter takes about 2000L.
There is gravity and pressure refuelling and it also depends on the helicopter type.

+Adisorn Pimtrairat no its called hot refueling. Its no more dangerous than when the engine is off. This way you avoid causing stress on the engine due to heat cycling.
Shutting it down and it doesn't start would be an issue don't you think..??? - these crews are well trained and versed in this type of operation.

Why? The only reason for that is union rules and jobs for the boys. The passengers should carry their own bag.
No its the heli deck officers snd controller some times they use help of the passengers as said under control
