Funny how fishing programme backing tracks have changed over the years: Growin up watchin matt hayes, wilson, mick brown and bobb nudd, there backing music was like your next door neighbors nerd son, just pressed demo on his yamaha keyboard. Now its like the intro to the pride of britain awards and "little freddie's just come out on his NHS crutches to collect his award" style music.

I hate to say it but wiping the sides of a fish takes off their protective slime? That’s why we use mats? I’ve kept fish for over 20 years to 25lb btw. Nice vid though.

New sub, l9ve yr channel, fished for 30 plus yrs ( then had EVERYTHING STOLEN 😢) broke me, lost the lot & my will to start again ( where do you start after loosing everything) so after 6-7 years I started buying carp tackle, spent what 5 years carping but ive just spent more than I'd admit on a pole waller rod etc, when carping i caught a bream was disappointing ( friend said no he weighed it- 12.07 & I was disappointed 🙄. So that's when I invested in course tackle- also going Ebro ( been France the last 3 yrs) this spring, hopefully I beat my 130lb PB 🎣🎣🎣, great channel ( what lake is this BTW ) Thanks in advance 😉

Also, look for Mussels on the "Oops" counter (on or near to use by date) like at Morrisons. You can freeze any you don't use a few times. Just be careful touching your lips if you do that - say if you're Smoking or having a drink/sarnie. I always take a bottle of Hand Sanitiser anyway.

Hi! What rod you use?

I know this is two year old now Rich. But anyway. I was just looking around YT to see what's what regarding cheese paste....and I see absolutely no difference in how you make yours and mine...SO! I'm doing something right!. I made a massive batch at start of lockdown...nothing else to do. My batch was at least 10 times bigger than yours, it'll probably outlive me. What I did though each time during the colder months and using it. was take another bag out and just kept it with me for the session and re kneaded and re- kneaded it whilst added some (cheesey garlic flavouring... not a lot, just a dash)whilst in it's bag during the quieter moments for something to do....bit like those finger spinners ! Anyway.. end of session...refroze it again....took it out again on the next session...and done it all again. After a couple of years, i've done the same to all the other stored balls in the freezer. I now have an incredible paste which is as so soft and hook happy... I cant believe it....although I've now added a couple of other things to it to make it so. I'll give ita bash over the next couple of months.. if it works...I'll let you know.
