The section (going north) that should have had the electrification investment first. Instead the Tories did the usual - handing out the money to the south east.Surely Corby could have been wired after the rest of the MML to Sheffield. Absolutely crazy thinking.

hello at 1835 BST on Sunday 27th March 2022. Can any subscriber confirm Wolverton was the first UK station buffet built so that long distance trains could stop for passengers who were gasping to buy a scone and a cup of tea as there were no buffet cars on trains in the 1800s. I am 70 and worked for British Rail, Railtrack and Network Rail for 37 years doing 11 different jobs from signal box lad finishing in middle management. Thank You David
