Tufan had a story about the fines handed out at Hull City the last few days. I think you're making a huge presumption assuming that if Rosenior had stayed Tufan would have. And to credit Rosenior with our best signings...when those directly linked to him didn't work out fully anyway. Simons and Ebiowei definitely didn't work out. Connolly may well have left under Rosenior. And Allsop's stats weren't that good.

People forget but Tufan started very well under Shota (after having not tried in preseason). Then he got injured.

From what I understand he said that Allsop needed a rest because of form not that we needed to get rid of him. And Allsop's stats weren't the best. Rosenior was idolised by some because of his time as a player but we really needed someone with more experience when spending millions.

greetings from turkey. i really enjoy your podcasts. as a turkish guy, i can understand that acun wants to bring turkish players to the team. turkey is a good location to buy cheap players with quality. but in my opinion, acun's biggest problem is his fenerbahçe fanaticism. instead of signing star players or youngsters with huge potential in turkey, he signs mostly fenerbahçe related players and they are not good enough for hull i guess. maybe he can change this attitude in future.

Music at the start is too loud. Other teams just score more. Norwich but even West Brom and arguably Coventry. The Vardy penalty was much better than Carvalho's. Hard and high enough. Conceding a goal right after scoring is something you have to avoid. And it's not the first time this season.

Tufan was good at the start of last season, but he didn't have the fitness to carry it on longer. With more time he got fitter.

Actually playing from the back started with Shota but there were too many bad purchases that season. Figueiredo in particular was a disaster in defence, and too many players were unfit and not suited for football in England.

The car park could be small for a decent sized "sports village'. The fair could also be elsewhere where it could be bigger. So I'd develop the car park for something else, maybe even a nice green area. It certainly shouldn't be a case of the car park area or nothing.

At the start of the season we were passing forward very slowly, only later did we improve and start moving it quicker. So Longman wasn't without a point. The signings last year were quite poor, Traore has hardly proved himself. Rosenior shored up the defence last year as Acun's plan of just outscoring the opposition wasn't working and it us in danger. Also some of our injuried players became available once Rosenior took over. The signings now sound promising but they need to work well as a team. We aren't like the parachute payment teams, so we need more of a team strength like Coventry and Ipswich.

Really odd comment from David City on Film about Mark Noble. Noble did absolutely nothing for us. He only played two full games. He was only on the pitch in 5 games in total. He came to City in mid-February and was gone by mid-March. Noble made no impact whatsoever at City. Football is a game of opinions though so I guess that David saw something in Noble that I certainly didn’t see all those years ago.

I think the best thing for Furlong right now would be a cup run to get some game time under his belt. Same goes for Sayadmannesh

I think the main thing that needs to change is taking shots when they open up, there was plenty of chances in both halves where you could see it opening up for them to have a go but they just for whatever reason decided to take another touch and then lost the ball or try to take it around the keeper and lost it, they just need to let one go more often, I know it’s probably against what rosey wants with the possession based football but sometimes in the moment it’s the right decision, because as you lads all mentioned plenty of times Delap had a rocket of a strike in him but he never gets the chance to use that which personally, I think if he did take those shots more often we would have a real goal threat game in game out with him up top, I could easily see him getting double digits 15-20 goals in a season because most defenders I’ve seen face him don’t quite have the speed to catch him once he’s past and also he’s got great strength to hold off defenders as well

Really good to get the parent club's perspective on their player, talked a lot of sense, and very hopefully Twine can have a good season with us.

Tufan started last year looking quite fit really. It was the best he was all season for energy. Conceeding goals in added time suggests lack of concentration.

If mic levels could be balanced a bit better in future would make it a lot easier to listen to without having to adjust the volume. Good to have football back!

Of course in Hull we had the Green Sports Mail that came out soon after matches. I can see why Norwich are confident as Rosenior's tactics in the last game at Carrow Road were awful. I hope he's learnt from that.
