@DavidKitchen-ck2oo it did ..with a little help from me . Look closely it's missing the entire battery compartment / handle that's how I found it so I retired it. Except it still runs .

Ahh yes ...you should see the things that go on with these trains...i see most folks nice well built detailed layout likely costing thousands. Me? Im thst guy reverse engineering rebuilding mix matching parts , running trains through blizzards for as long as they will go , i have a 540 racing motor from traxxas stadium truck mounted to a ho scale sd40-2 frame and trucks.. its like a rocket train ..all my trains belong to dead foamers that im sure i wilk see in hell. Lol....

it does but one of the transmission shafts run into clutch and kick start area has idler gear for kick starter that sheared off.

I'd follow that hose and see if there's a fitting going to out to probably the frame or somewhere with a grease fitting at the end in a easy access area that enable you to grease without climbing under your rig. If not there's usually a grease fitting on the the throwing bearing itself under and inspection panel bottom of transmission bellowing that you can remove or there's a hole you can put grease gun hose tip through to access the fitting ...that can be frustration because its a feeling around hoping you find it without see exactly what your doing. If you know the exact location of it maybe that helps..this is on a 2018 peterbilt 359 .hmu for info anytime

This is an old comment but I will respond. I have put an extension hose on mine so that I can grease it wothout removing the plate. Yours probably has been done likewise

He's a chihuahua and wasn't having the best day that day. He has this condition that when he barks to much it puts him in extreme pain in his hind quarters 12 hours later suddenly he's trying to get on my lap yippin in pain..crazy huh.

They are fun bikes, can hold there own even now. Thx for the last couple sentences about hard starting, at least that plastic choke piece is available for not much. These movies demand a high zinc oil for cam/rocker life, high-friction. Manuals don't tell you that, we learn by wiped cam lobes.
