    Great video! Love the workbench, the joinery, and the honesty about the parts that didn't go to plan. Don't be afraid to re-record a voiceover if the take doesn't go perfectly. It's like jointing a board until it's perfectly square.

    Hey, I found you from your workbench build. I am also a guitarist, only slightly interested in the woodworking (mostly due to cost prohibitiveness). I was hoping to see more dynamic range in the demo and also some finger style and different voicings of chords. If I was closer to Oregon, I'd be willing to do a demo video or tryout the guitar in person. Hope to see more from you.

    Great video. Keep at it - i’m looking forward to seeing more from you! I’m sure it won’t explode in a shower dust and chips from all the wood movement 😅 One piece of constructive (i hope) critique. The narration sounds a lot like you reading out loud from a manuscript - it’s a bit jarring. If so, maybe you could try to just remember the key points, and then speak it out in a natural language like you would, if your viewers were right there in the workshop with you.

    Great video. I wouldn't have glued the bread board end onto the tenons. This will not allow for the expansion and contraction of the top and may lead to cracks and even breakage in the ends.

    I guess you don't care or don't know about wood movement? Otherwise an excellent workbench/table thing.

  • @ryoukosan11

    Nice bench! Definitely has given me a few design ideas for my next bench build. Just curious, but by completely gluing the breadboard ends on, are you concerned about the top possibly warping due to wood movement?

    • @NCMGuitarsandCustomWoodworking
      @NCMGuitarsandCustomWoodworking 6 месяцев назад

      I'm not concerned about it, but if it does warp like a bannana, I'll post an update about it on instagram.

    • @tomowens2720

      If anything the wood itself will crack. If you don’t live in an area with wide temp variations prolly won’t be an issue

    That plywood was awful, and your abillity to put it together in spite of -- not because of -- the material's character; is what made the watch worth. Are you going to do the classic tool-specifc monotasking fixture inside the cabinets too?

    The cabinets turned out superb!!!! How do you like the 7491 tablesaw? How long have you had it? Any issues using a dado stack with it? For quite awhile now I’ve been considering the Delta contractors saw. But lately I’ve been leaning toward the 7491.

    • @NCMGuitarsandCustomWoodworking
      @NCMGuitarsandCustomWoodworking 9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for watching! I bought the Dewalt because it folds up and doesn't take much space. I've had it for 6 years now. My only issues are the aluminum top, it's not perfectly flat and gets scratched easily. It worked well with a dado stack.
