In this video I tried to capture the magical charm of Berlin during the Christmas season. Me and my boyfriend visit two Christmas markets in the center of Berlin, enjoy the festive atmosphere, sip warm drinks, and enjoy twinkling lights.
Second part of the video is showing the New Year's celebration with crazy loud fireworks rising up in the Berlin night sky.

Totally agree. I've been there six times since 2013. Three times in the fall, and that was the best. That started in 2013 and my son and I fell in love with Berlin right away. Never in the spring until now. What do you think of Berlin in the spring? Do you recommend it?
It’s quite nice in mid-spring as well, when everything is in bloom. I especially like the sakura cherries (they usually bloom around mid-April), and there are quite a few alleys lined with them. Later in May, everything else comes into full bloom, which makes walks in parks like Britzer Garten, Gardens of the World, and Tiergarten even more magical. After the dark, gray winter, it’s also wonderful to enjoy a meal or drink outside and browse some flea markets. Oh, and there’s also the Carnival of Cultures with its parade, which takes place at the end of May. So, spring is definitely a great time to visit Berlin!

Fall of an empire
This shit with Ryanair happened to me too last month. They cancelled the flight back from France to Vienna. The next day we got rerouted via Ibiza. Got cancelled again and had to sleep in Ibiza. Basically got home 50 hours later and they still fight about compensation. Anyway, what's the name of the hotel/apartment you had? I reckon is around Kálvin tér? I think a lot of buildings there have this inside garden. Cheers!
We were staying not far from Astoria metro station, which is not far from the square you've mentioned. I didn't know those gardens were a common thing. It's pretty cool to have some greenery outside your balcony. 🙂

I'm also reading Camus this month :) Also your filming setup looks great! I have one suggestion: raise your light source a little bit so the shadows it casts on your face look more natural and if you want the light to be softer you can put slightly transparent paper in front of it to diffuse the light.
Do you read "The Outsider" too, or some of his other works? Thank you for the tips! I'm an absolute newbie in all of these. 🙈 You should have seen my yesterday's setup from my perspective: phone attached to the clothes dryer, with the mirror behind it, to see if the recording is still on. I'll try to improve it in the following videos 😊
