Autumn Stroll
Little electronica-fusion track made during the covid pandemic to ease the stress and struggle of these trying times and remind you of that nice walk you had through town or the woods. Picture taken in the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

The Best DCI Moments of the 20th Century
Просмотров 241 тыс.5 лет назад
[insert g-bugle joke here] DCI was a much different landscape than it is today. The 80s marked a flourish in the drum corps world and the 90s brought us some of the most energetic shows in history. Here are 18 clips from 15 shows that display a taste of what the 20th century had to offer. Enjoy!
Top Ten Coolest DCI Moments

Some of my favorite moments in DCI history. There are too many shows to choose from, but these stood out to me the most. I would like to hear what your favorite moments are in the comments.

Sheet Music: drive.google.com/file/d/1BSxpad6Mv6yy4c5zLZCNCG71suCGmS1B/view?usp=sharing This is my first big piano piece. I wanted my go at more chord variations and styles. It took a few months of experimenting, scrapping, and rewriting while dealing with some major writer's block. It is mostly inspired by Beethoven but it's got some subtle Khachaturian and Mozart influences too. It is relativ...

27:34 That poor judge in the center XD
Idk if anyone agrees but the Cavs Machine show is in my top 10 fs
Just saw someone from watch mojo fall to their knees in Walmart
GTFO here with this nonsense. Frameworks at the 2002 finals is the single most iconic moment in DCI history. Putting that first (aka last) is an insult to the art.
Wish I could find a video of the Phantom Regiment performing Bohemian Rhapsody. It was so awesome to watch...with the caped leaders.
I forget sometimes how incredible that Cavies 92 show is... such a superb ending. That whole show created an atmosphere hardly anyone else has matched since.
20:00 Percussion 👌
This 2011 phantom regiment is the most beautiful hornline ever. 😊
the things I would’ve done to see spartacus live 😭
Is it just me or did drum core sound a thousand times better with two valves, actual four-drum quads, minimal drill, tacky ass uniforms, absolutely no synthesizers! And smiling color guard without the stage drama.........? (Say no to Lucas oil stadium)
why did 2002 look worse than 2000 💀
Should’ve add3d SCV 2023 😂
Cavies show designers:...what havent ever done? On i know lets have the corp full on sprint and play for 3 minutes straight.
The most breath taking ending ever!
The greatest closer ever other than the 87 Garfield Cadets. Both were other worldly!
Spartacus was legendary but Juliet was Pavarotti. Just beyond beautiful.
The assistant band director at my school was in 2014 crown out of this world and was one of the people singing at the beginning
dci when they kill the drum major: (it’s just part of the show)
Mannnnn blue shades❤
What? No Cadets '83, SCV '92, Madison '98 or Phantom '95? 😮
Cadets weren't called Garfield Cadets by 1993, they were the Cadets of Bergen County 😉
This DJ Dian carol roxas in bucawe bulacan and my partner bong r Ignacio RUclips E
The bieuty and the biest saund of DCI this is my peaboritesaund I am aglipeast bong r Ignacio is biwst biuty is my gf Dian carol roxas she is my one
Chills for Phantom of the Opera. Amazing show.
crazy to think that the first people would be 55-59 years old
Have mercy that I EVER had this kind of energy in the Corps! Where did it all go!?
I was in two of these!
RIP Cadets, heart breaking.
Why can’t they go back to marching and playing that’s the excitement about it cadets and phantom was the best at this kind of marching and playing. Please bring it back
Still watching this in 2024. Santa Clara Vanguard 1989, how could I forget that one! I got to see it live! It blew us all away! (My corps only placed 16th that year.)
The drum line even strong back then. Now it pageantry drum corps was strong back in the 90s and 2000s now days you have to dance and stand still then march a little then stand still corps now days still couldn’t out play them corps they marched hard back then now they hardly do the show with props and little marching. Come on March they do in these videos and you will see your self in the top five every year.
I so loved it when the cadets marched like this March a show that is so fast and a very clean show. It showed that they wanted more that’s what marching is about and no prof work for it like they are doing it that is the strongest corps phantom is another corps that March like this and are the best it’s awesome and have a in your fast loud overtone shows that brings you to your feet should be the winner.
I think of that show moving that fast and be spot on and loud that to me should be first place that is strong corps.
I wish the cadets would go back too that style of marching that would be the strongest drum corps. Go Cadats
That valve trick from Frameworks was so epic. Got to lose to them all season and never understood why people labeled that moment as “Fight Club”. They were just so polished.
Amazing sound. Need louder speakers
Nice band
1996 Phantom, 1995 Madison scouts. I was there and that's the top for me. Thanks for posting this blast from the past.
89 phantom...greatest show to not win...
As a Cadet Alumni, thank you for this! I love these moments as well. The one that gets my heart the most is not on this list. 1987 Cadets Appalachain Spring - this one made me know I wanted to be a Cadet.
That guard actress in sparticus that got killed and thrown on the ground actually got a massive concussion because of how hard she hit her head Apparently she passed out from it and that limpness was real
26:10🤯🤯🤯
25:47 goes so hard
Terrible
Spartacus was life changing
I know I'm in the minority here, but 1993 Star of Indiana was very difficult, but extremely boring to watch and listen to! Liked 92 way better!!
Can’t have a “coolest dci moments” without tilt ☺️
What are they feeding kids in America if so many of them grow up to be this
I can't believe I wasted six summers on drum corps. Those might have been the best summers of my life but instead of enjoying them I marched drum corps. What I wouldn't give to get that time back and erase the mistake I made by marching six Summers of drum corps.
I’m sorry but glockenspiels and bells and little tinkly thingies in a drum and bugle corps is so wrong it’s should be criminal!
