    i am not sandra, sandra is my mother,My Name is Theresa B. , I worked to get my class permit on my own and went as far as I could by myself. searching for the rite trucking school for me I had exhausted everything I could think of and had found nothing that I could have made work with what I was able to do, so much time had passed that I had to use the one extension that the dmv affords you to complete your class A application and was losing all hope of being able to get my cdl, and somehow EASY TRUCK SCHOOL came across my screen and I began corrisponding with ali, the owner and excop, and I found my path, the price was equal to about half of what I had found at any other school and with my heart pounding I made the commitment , rented a car and drove more than 300 miles to attend this school and pin all of my hopes for my 30 year dream of driving trucks across america for a living on this one shot. when I arrived, although ali is all about business, he is also very human which is surprising for a cop, he went so far above and beyond anything that was required of him to help me realize my dream that I was positive that there would be a catch before I was able to finish this school and my dream would go up in smoke, but he never faultered and the other shoe never dropped, nosh who really runs the office behind the scenes is pleasent and very personable makes you quite comfortable unlike most front office personel and mps Collins who conducts the orientation , although she repeats everything at a maddening rate is one of the happiest and most welcoming and easy people to talk to that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Jeff was my instructor when I first got in that beast of a truck that I threatened to (*^(&^R&^ on multiple occasions, although he presents himself like a drill instructor would, but is really a softie with a huge heart, and makes it his mission to help each student overcome any obstacles that stand between them and getting their CDL. He doesn't just pay lip service to caring about whats happening with the people he teaches, he goes the extra mile to see them through. there are so many wonderful people at this place that I cannot possible name them all, But I would like to at least mention all of the guys at the shop who keep the trucks safely on the road, they are a great bunch of guys whom I will think of often as the years and miles roll past and smile when I remember them, and to the one guy who never said more than "GOOD MORNING" to me the whole time that I was there, I would like to say thank you, you were probably one of the most key pieces to my time at the school, I have never been a morning person and you never failed to put a smile on my face at the ungodly hour of " i hate life thirty" in the morning.and of course who could forget Larry, whos soft spoken fountain of key information gave me the confidence to relax at the dmv and walk away as the newest california licensed commercial truck driver. Although at the end of the day it was only a business transaction, This group of amazingly caring people in only 1 1/2 weeks helped me to realize a 30 year dream that 9 days before I had all but given up on, on 8?18/22, I reuturned to san bernardino with my class A cdl and hope for a new and better life. You are all an amazing group of human beings and although I will most likely never see any of you again in my lifetime, I guarantee that there is not one person students included that I will ever forget. • @BunkGarage
      @BunkGarage 2 года назад

      A lot. Of stuff I feel somewhat comfortable remembering all the engine components, steering components and wheel components with brake components. It’s repetition. I’m also confused on inside can air brake test, luckily the school I’m attending I paid $2200 for 30hrs of ELDT approved training, and. Every Tuesday and Friday it’s free air brake schooling. So I’m dedicated to learn. Also I quit my day/night job to focus 1000% into this portion. Once I pass I’ll get my job back easily or get another one but my goal is to get cdl and find work there. I already have my Twic card and already did my hazmat tsa background now just need the ELDT training on hazmat then take test at dmv. But I’m going to do that after I get my license since I don’t want that one portion to hold me back.

    Just passed my CDL 1/4/22. Studied this video like Eliot Ness studied Al Capone. Made large size pictures of the truck and posted them in the garage and as I walked by each picture I did my pre trip. When in school waiting to drive the truck I used the old FreightLiner to do pre trip and air brake test don’t stand around like others waiting to drive the truck use your time to your advantage you learn faster when you’re in front of the truck because you memorize parts of the truck faster. Grab a stranger and quiz each other you’ll realize how different it is to do pre trip in front of a stranger rather than yourself or a close friend. 🍾🍾🍾

      Do they check that you drove into the testing area with a Class A licensed driver or can you pull off driving to the DMV on your own

  • @1Keymaker
    @1Keymaker 2 года назад

    Maybe it’s just my state by every year DMV changes up the inspection a little bit. Right now the in cab is not that long anymore and there’s a bunch of stuff that you won’t get credit if you mention them cause it’s not in the CDL manual anymore. The brake test is the only thing that never changes and it’s the only thing that if you don’t get it right and do it in the right sequence you fail.

      You are right. All this whole process is totally different in Texas. We don't do the beginning part he did. We have In cab, which is super short, airbrake test, then tug test. Then we have sections A, B, and C. A is the front of cab and engine parts up to the tires and suspension, B is the mirror mount, door, steps, gas tank, def exhaust and tires, etc. Then C is all trailer parts. Only thing universal before all that is Safety inspection. In this in cab we do static at 3psi 1 minute then, service Break pressed 4psi 1 minute. Safety and In cab is done before everything else, and incab includes air brakes.
