Great to finally here this performance! I was the Tuba for the Orchestra so I had to leave early after my performance so I didn't get a chance to watch you guys :( Fantastic playing though, the low winds were rocking it! Was a blast to participate in my first ever All-State Experience! Hopefully see some of you guys next year as well! :)

Hey! I was one of the Tubas in this ensemble. This was honestly such a fun experience to be a part of being my first year ever in all-state. I would say that this is my 2nd favorite piece after Traveler. Those 2 were the hardest to learn and prepare, but MAAAAANNN was it worth the work!! 😆

For those of you who are wondering if this audition video is actually helpful, I must say THIS WILL HELP!! Hi! This is future me, 2 months later after this video was taken. Both judges scored 28/30 and 29/30 for this etude. Overall, my state score was a 91-92% So don’t hesitate to play along with this recording!
