@@jalehz1228 it can’t be burnished in my case when I repeat the buffing and painting process a few times I get a nice edge. I hope this helps. You have to consider that Veg tan and chrome leather come in different tempers, the softer the harder to edge.

You can try sticking some electrical tape at the back of your templates or any kind of thin rubber tape to stop your templates from moving. I hope this helps. Having a cutting mat that is similar to the size of your template helps a lot so you can rotate your work while you keep cutting as I show on the video.

Thank you for your order. If the leather is strong enough to hold the weight you’re going to put in the bag it shouldn’t be a problem. I would use at least 2mm leather where the strap is going to be attached. I hope this helps.

@@TikalLeatherPatterns that’s amazing, I’d love to have chrome tanned leather that behaved like that! All mine is dyed through and through and is too “spongy” to bevel and mushrooms from slicker (and dremel etc). I’m a little jealous ;-)

Is there a link by chance you could share? theres so many out there, im curious to see what i would want to buy. Currently using just 3oz veg tan, airbrush dyed. I use Angelus acrylic paint for chrome leather and Waproo leather day for vegtan, this is an Australian brand. Fiebing’s is also very popular. Where to buy? Check your local store or google them and choose the website that suits you best. Good luck.

Hi mate! I wish I had a short answer to your question but it’s a bit complex, I’ve been doing this for a few years and I’m still learning. You can use a software like Illustrator that you have to pay for but there are also free softwares. Good luck
