If he is a socialist why not distribute his earnings amongst all other musicians so all are paid exactly the same as every one else working, no one gets paid more just because your better or more popular . Everyone gets about 22 thousand a year.Same with sport and everything else, no one gets anymore because you have dedicated your life to something. Pay the brain surgeon the same as the hospital porter.And obviously Mr Weller cant sell his music in the free market playing at private venues.He can only play at State approved leisure centres for State approved Music , with the State approved message.
