Did I find a Spanish Anchor on French reef, Key Largo? Diving with Rainbow Reef dive shop I came across this anchor. Sorry for the shaky video I was fighting a current.
The Benwood Wreck
Просмотров 99Год назад
The Benwood was a freighter ship that was 360 feet in length with a beam of 31 feet. During World War II in 1942 she was running blacked out when she collided with the Robert C. Tuttle, a larger ship, 544 feet in length and a 70 foot beam who was also running blacked out. After the collision the Benwood began taking on water and after 30 minutes the Captain ordered the crew to abandon ship. Aft...

Checking the Acorn Plastic Frames.
Просмотров 7352 года назад
I bought some Acorn plastic frames to see if the bees would draw out wax on them, I had to put a coating of wax on them even though they were already double waxed. Looking good now. #Beekeeping #Barnyard Bees #Acorn Plastic Frames

Rainbow River Dunnellon Florida Drift Dive

I went to the Rainbow River with a group of Open Water Students from Divers Supply, a great time had by all. I also got to meet the Great Bob Collins. It was neat seeing the water pushing up through the sand making it bubble and the vents blasting the water out at high speed.

    I can’t take full credit, I saw this on Steve’s Outdoor World on Utube. I did change it a little, I may put a 12 volt computer fan instead of the hair dryer just so I won’t have to use the inverter. it does works excellent though.

    I think you're the only independent reviewer of this BCD. How's it working out for you? I'd like to see the BCD fully inflated to see how this hybrid system looks and feels. Thanks!

      @scubees4857 2 года назад

      It is a nice BCD but I guess I’m old school and it didn’t feel right to me in the water with the back inflate so I swapped it out and bought a Zeagle Bravo full jacket BCD (see my review on Scubees utube channel) I have dove several times with it (steel and aluminum tanks) and I’m totally satisfied with it.

      @@scubees4857 Thanks for the reply. I dive a Zeagle Ranger and my back ups are Oceanic Chute II (back inflate) and Scubapro Classic (stab jacket). I was considering selling the two and buying a new backup. I know Piranha Dive Mfg sells it online but there are no local dealers that I'm aware.
