Fairly good puzzle at medium level. 10m54s notation free. The key to get to the solution promptly was the 57 being restricted as a pair in column 3 to rows 1 and 8. This confined the 1 in row 2 and the 4 in row 3. The rest became easier.

Fairly good puzzle. 15 minutes without making notations. To finish with sarcastic humour, you placed a 5 in the 24th minute of the video in row 3, column 8. This happened to be my first digit immediately as I got my first glance at the puzzle. Self-inflicted pains ? :)

Quickest time for a 4 Star from your newspaper: 6m47s. Just a moderate speed but placing restricted digits without having to pause between them.

How did I end up here

Easy 4 Star: 9 minutes

6 minute joy ride.

Allow me to explain a classic occurrence that allowed for a quick and easy solution of the right side of the puzzle: in the upper block, you have a 1 and a 6 that are NOT in the left side column 7. Therefore, you know you will have to place a 1 and a 6 somewhere in column 7 in the lower blocks, where there remain only three empty cells. In row 4, you can see on the left that you already have given 1 and 6. So, 16 pair in rows 5 and 7. Therefor the 2 is now limited to row 7, col 9 and will join the 7 on the left side of the upper nlock. Therefore 4 in row 3, col. 9 and in row 4, col 7. With this, you have made good progress and created a host of new restrictions in the puzzle to make further progress working towards the left. Nice puzzle. Not the easiest. 16 minutes.

You began looking for mistakes in the left area where there were still empty cells. This area was not the cause, but the victim of mistakes made elsewhere... You needed to look first in areas that were completed.
