I'm sure you're kawasaki klr650 doesn't walk around the garden on its centre stand when you rev it, this bike did! Wouldn't personally have another, the vibes are a real problem, and reliability questionable.

@@simonwyatt6453 I had a choice between this KTM 640 and the KLR650, I was advised by a friend who owned one to think twice because of lack of parts, so took the KLR650, but the KLR is a bit of a slouch, doesn't offer much, but is reliable, I'm in the process of selling it, getting a bit sick of old model bikes

I wouldn't personally advise buying one, I found it to be unreliable, yes parts are very scarce. I would stick with you're klr650, the ktm was very powerful but it won't last like you're klr will. Good luck with you're search if you decide to sell it.

Hi I am about 5'10" and never had a problem with touching the ground on this bike.

Yes I know what you mean, very easy to break, agree they look ugly on most bikes, but that's the law here so we have to stick to it.

Hi They are a great bike, also I would recommend looking for a post 1996 dr650, they are not as good as the ktm 640 for power or suspension but they are so reliable, they also can be molded with suspension and engine.

I really don't know Kurt, here in uk they are rare but not widely known of, I would advise to look at the yamaha IT website forum.

Seen a non running one sell for 800 with a messed up seat I’m sure a nice one would sell for much more

I didn't have any problems with the tail section but can appreciate what you are saying, I owned a 2003 honda blackbird before the zzr1100 and personally preferred the fuel injected bird. I'm done with sports bikes now so I wouldn't buy any again but enjoyed owning both.

@@simonwyatt6453 i honestly love all the ZX11s, i just had to gripe about that one silly chunk of plastic. it's a pain finding stuff anymore, but i can't complain too hard when i consider how many bikes Kawi has made between then and now. sorry to hear you're off sportbikes; i just got started a few years ago as my midlife crisis.. lol

Hi It was a charging flylead under seat. USB port was near instruments. I sold it as it was temperamental to start and carb leaked intermittently despite rebuild. It was a great bike but they do vibrate a fair bit. Gone back to a suzuki dr650se now, more reliable and much less to go wrong with it. Hope it helps.

I sold mine a couple of years ago as it wasn't used much. Lovely bike though, ram Air sounds nice above 5k revs. Too fast for me though, that's why I no longer have it!

@@gdfggggg I have a C 3 I've owned it for 30 years brilliant bike all black black frame, just shy of 70k , I totally love it , I've had many other over the years including Hybusa ZZR1400 , Ducati and a few vintage Bikes but always kept hold of my C3 , , your D looks in totally Beautiful condition, nice to see it.
