Brian had a mini-resurgence in Fall 2021. He was much more engaged and involved than he had been in years! I feel good that the last Brian show I saw was during that Fall tour. As we know, Summer 2022 was a rough tour for Brian and he wound up retiring from the road after that.

They gave a shoutout to a special 7 yr old girl in the audience b/w those two songs, and that's my daughter. We weren't able to get video of it, and I was in the restroom when it happened. Ace Frehley is always going to be Ace Frehley to me, I've been listening to him since 1976... But, in spite of all my love and my gratitude for him, his performances are a bit...below average... It's a good thing that he has such a great and reliable backing band but no matter how old and experienced you are there's no substitute for rehearsing... If everyone past 70 couldn't play in tune or sing in tune anymore then that might explain his... problems...but people like Sting, Angus Young and Paul McCartney who's even older still deliver solid shows... It's a shame because I can feel that Ace is still there but only partially... On the other hand if it has anything to do with his health please ignore my comments and I can only hope he'll get better...
