I have had this pencil sharpener for some time and have none of the issues you do. Keep the arrows together and open on that side for sharpening and the opposite side for emptying and it works perfectly for Polychromos.

It’s the ink. I use a 1.9 mm nib on my Safari with no issues or problems. My ink of choice is Noodler’s Heart of Darkness.

Did you know that there is a mechanical pencil from Rotring Company called Rapid Pro 0.5? It has 2 legendary characteristics, which were She was ahead of her time. The nib comes out mechanically, or the pen lengthens the nib without pressing the pen from the back - just pressing the pen while writing, the nib comes out automatically. Secondly, the Chubb feature is the nib protection feature that is present in the Zebra pencil called Dell Guard to protect the lead from broken .The strange thing is that no one ever talked about these amazing features. Even the company itself did not disclose the matter.. really strange.

As an old Japanese man who owned a fountain pen store said, well, he said something about how most people who use fountain pens aren't in a hurry and don't mind the unscrewable caps and how it was a tradition of those pens to have them or whatever.

Hey princess who’s full of pain. You’re obviously intelligent. Think about quantum mechanics and apply it spiritually. We’re all born into dynamics beyond our control. It’s like a blueprint of dynamics everyone is by default born into at conception. If you think of this forgiveness should come easy. Jesus said if you forgive others he will forgive you and forgiveness is hard when you’re born into certain groups but it’s not impossible when you have perspectives that come with deep understandings.
