Welcome to Daddy's Workshop of the Carolinas, where we treasure things made & restored by hand - fine furniture & vintage machinery. I wear a lot of hats. I taught high school history for 13 years, I make custom furniture, I am a classical educator, I write and speak on a variety of topics at the intersections of faith and culture, and serve as vicar at All Saints Lutheran Church (LCMS). This channel is an ode of sorts to the long tradition of treasuring the physicality & humanness of working wood with your hands & uncovering the hidden beauty of vintage woodworking machines. I also am the author of two books: Are We All Cyborgs Now? Reclaiming Our Humanity from the Machine, and Education's End: Its Undoing Explained; Its Hope Reclaimed.
