Comparing W968 with N301 Note: These are my opinion, I maybe bias since N301 is my main blade.

if i fell like that and my opponent didnt ask if i was ok id be tilted
Man... I could only say that day is not your day. 9:7 that two points... 90% and 99% you will win any of them... you missed two points 0.1 * 0.01....
In that area you are probably in the top 5%.
Define a walking serve. What’s a walking serve? I’d like to learn it.
@@olivero-j1r walk to the table and serve immediately when you get to the table. I do not advise learning this, suggest mastering the normal serve instead.
It’s nice to play with u in HITTA.
like that walking serve :-)
You have not proved yourself worthy until you have beaten the traditional penhold uncle
unc in khaki and everything, gotta give him that
Hey that Andrew dude can loop farther than the eye can see.
What rubbers and blade do you use? And i am curious about how you grip your racket and where you put pressure. Would be great if you can make a video when you are bored and dont have any tourament content to show :D
N301, h3 both sides. :)
@@hao1eng thx. Are you happy with your setup?
I have a similar playing style and racket grip (but far less good...). I'm very interested too ;-).
@@niklaskras5498yeah, as long as the h3 are boosted well.
Hi. What is the reason you are quitting. You are really good. Anyway Im gonna miss your content man 😅
Other responsibilities :)
@@hao1eng Congrats on your child? Babys take a lot of time and attention.
@@martinl.4696 yeah, he's 5 :)
@@hao1eng You still going to go to SPTTC league? Once my baby is a bit older I can start risking it.
@@jpakjpak not yet :)
Maybe running around to hit the forehand too much? Fairly obvious against that Ernest dude. You can beat him with your backhand no problem, you're running so much you have to hit it off the floor, and then it becomes difficult even with your great forehand.
@@alk672 yeah, and also should have hit more to his FH. I lose advantage when I push to his BH...
That's not a walking serve, that's a walking, no-toss serve. The no-toss part is the problem :)
@@alk672 the whole package makes it hard to predict 😅
@@hao1eng yes, and also the fact that the dude is beating you while wearing pants. It really gets into your head as you're thinking "I'll probably just sit in front of a TV when I'm his age". Messes with your head big time.
@@alk672 😂
You play great! Keep it up. I think the easiest improvement for you could be your serves.
Yeah, especially for penhold to control the first 3 touches.
Go go, its ok!
Are you still planning to play Seattle tournaments?
@@big_pip_energy_tt maybe?
That awkward moment when an Amazon tournament has by far the best playing conditions than any amateur tournament :) Also better feed quality and camera angle than most international tournaments...
+1, the TT international tournament angles have room for improvement.
Yeah I never know what to do with people who play like that girl. She's very good, but even folks who are much worse than her - I'm not sure what to do. In theory you have to spin the ball up and land it long and then they can't do that off the bounce stuff as easily, but that's easier said than done :)
Is that Thomas dude really 2150 by just returning the ball from 20 feet away? Or did these rallies come out biased in that direction?
@@alk672 probably biased. I Missed a lot of serve receives.
How come last one?
Other responsibilities :)
@@hao1eng table tennis players don't have other responsibilities!
Try softer bh rubber. 36
it is so interesting... in bay area, kids with 1900 league rating having 2100 USATT tournament rating while in Seattle, league rating being 2100 worth 2000 USATT tournament rating
Great improvement!
Lol. I like the sad ending
ha. musclepong was in the background
Yeah, we play at the same club :)
@@hao1eng gotta get up to Seattle. Looks like the tt scene is solid
you coming back to Japan sometime?
Good video, thanks for engish subs
Playing internationally huh :) You’re only focusing on how you lost points, why completely ignore how you won points?..
True... How did I win my points?
@@hao1eng just as a general concept… if you track how you won points, maybe you can play that way and not get into that other stuff where you lose 🤔
can you make a video of Ahan crying for losing 😅
Nope :)
牛逼
What is the red sponge mm ?
Oh, forgot to put them down, they are all 2.1mm
These seems like incredibly similar setups. What there any purpose in trying the alt setup?
Yeah, want to try out W968, which is a fairly popular blade for shakehand players.
Weren't there 2 other players in the group? How did those matches go?
Defaulted, I left early for CNY :)
Solid… but you can be way more aggressive against slower players, with how well you move and hit…
so ur not going to post till almost a year>?
Not sure, not a lot of tournament in my area this month bc of US open.
well done .. congratulations. Your reverse penholder loop drive down the line is a real weapon. Beautiful strokes on both sides.
Loving your videos, thanks for sharing!
Hey Hunlan congrats on reaching 2000 points !!!! Im one of your biggest fans next goal must be 2100 !! greetings from Denmark !
Underrated channel.
Interesting that you made this series called road to 2000 and you ended up exactly 2000. Not even a single point above or below. Congratulations on reaching your goal
Could I ask what blade/rubbers do you use!
N301, H3 both sides
Thanks for the info! I have only started playing rpb for the last 2 years and your match play is really helping me a lot to improve my games and put techniques together! I am still mainly having issues with playing rpb down the line instead of to the opponent backhand. Have been looking at how you are doing that stoke!
Great Match - fun to watch. Both strong players. Her whipping backhand and forehand stroke will take her a long way.
It was a nervous match for both of you. On his reverse pendulum, most were backspin / sidespin so freely swing away with a loop off either wing. (bend and use your legs). You will notice he could vary the length but not vary the top-side to backspin-side. It's OK to occasionally push those returns but push with purpose (jab push wide or into the body) . Don't push to just get it in because the higher level you play, the more they will open too strongly against a mediocre push. When the pressure is high, change your mindset to simple strategy. Since he didn't drop any of your shorter serves short, you know you'll get to open when you serve short and take a half step back to use your excellent consistent attack game. You are doing great and your counter loop keeps improving.
Good fight!
another sick ping pong vlog man, good job! 2000 is cool because it's like a milestone, but I personally don't like that spot, anything below 2035, esp 2010 is bound to go back below 2000. It feels really insecure there. Good playing though! Had no idea you were Cantonese, you also look like Qiu Dang haha.
Congrats man! 2100 next
Ahaha was it 2000 exactly at the end? :)
Will see, it's not out yet
Congratulations, you reach your goal! USATT 2000 🎉🎉🎉
You destroyed me😅, will be uploading both our full matches on my channel so stay tuned! Also damn I need to start taking timeouts😂 and congrats on (probably) finally hitting 2k! You've been at that level for so long, it was only a matter of time before it happened🎉
Whoa nice play against Chad. Did not know you speak Cantonese lol
what a chad
