Depends on the model of Bosch really if you were to purchase an AEG I would recommend one with Universal Dose and A Jet.

That would be my next machine something with power care and the universal dose drawer

A secondary Engineer came started spin cycle with wet towels with lid off checked and shocks were not excessively worn in his opinion. He reckoned start of spider becoming loose. Changed other components as his discretion. As didn't want to fit old parts onto a new tub.

@@aeglover I guess the machine was under an extended warranty? They (AEG/Electrolux) are very generous when it comes to replacing parts. My previous AEG also had its tub replaced. The replaceman man initially said that everything was ok, the next day they wanted to change the whole tub

@@BChopakov this was under the manufacturer warranty supplied upon purchase no extended warranty at present.

@@aeglover I thought you purchased the machine back in 2020, over 3 years ago. A standard manufacturer warranty is either 1 or 2 years. Usually AEG provide up to 3 more years of extended warranty, 5 years in total

Currently in a battle with aeg as they sent an engineer who didn't have a clue and made my machine worse and failed to fit the new shocks as he couldn't remove screws to remove front panel. As for the high warer level yes I did notice that but it hasn't reoccurred as far as I'm aware

​@@aegloverOh Gosh, had a similar experience with an AEG technician when he came to change the shock absorbers of my washer. He broke another part and water started flowing out of the tub. Fortunately for me I got a refund.

well has be re booked as a new job as initial engineer left a report saying no issue with machine I have video evidence and will be seeing how this goes in regards to a repair or replacement machine out of interest who did AEG send to repair yours.

In fact I had 2 repair technicians coming in. The first one said that everything was ok. Then changed his mind and took the machine away to change the whole tub (that was due to the squeaking seal noise). The second one came to change the shock absorbers. Both were sent by AEG authorised services.

My god what is it with under trained technicians these days​@@aeglover

Unfortunately there isn't a soak programme on this machine hope this helped

My model doesn't have WiFi. I'm sure this would be a fairy simple process please check AEG's website for the instruction manual for your model.

Engineer was here to replace worn shock absorbers

@@aeglover You bought the machine back in 2020, right? So, just over 3 years. Speaks a lot about AEG quality these days

​@@BChopakov The exact same shock absorbers are used in an old AEG washing machine and its litteraly one from someone on youtube and it has over 6500 operating hours and only now the shock absorber are starting to worn... I think this type of shock absorbers are good and normally last long, only con is that they are not very quiet. Also my Zanussi uses the same shock absorbers as it a 1600rpm model and are fine!

Glad I could help ! I do want a now model the powercare and universal dose drawer. This machines lack of quicker cycles and jet feature can be a pain. But I love it all the same! Just can't justify a replacement right now.

This is a washing machine only not a washer dryer so unfortunately there is noway to dry wet clothes in this machine

That may be true, but i think that AEG is better than LG. By the way, i own AEG slim 6kg washing machine and ive seen LG 6kg washing machine operate and my AEG is in my opinion WAY quieter than LG and red display on black on AEG is also better imo. ALL OF THIS IS MY OPINION, SO I DONT WANNA SEE HATERS HATE ON ME! THIS IS JUST AN OPINION OF MY EXPERIENCE! THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING!

In my opinion both aeg and lg are amazing machines but i gotta admit aeg also has long cycle times like lg like 2:53 for a small load is insane

@@Lukas99905 On my AEG it is something like that, but when i have like half of the load, it then changes to something like 2:10.
