Our Maternal/Child liaison, Elke Bachmann, RN, MSN, CNM, and Sekouba Conde worked together with Bolokada doing all the translations. The village midwife, Montene, participated in the prenatal exchange with two expectant mothers who volunteered to be seen. The days were long but worth every minute.

Next Great News - Elke Bachmann, RN, MSN, CNM, is creating a Women's and Infant Health Program for the doctor and will travel to the village to facilitate the training.
