Your math is ridiculous... Forgetting land transfer tax, realtors commissions if you resell etc. You are also assuming prices go up... Are you forgetting how many times renos have cost overruns! Macro economics are showing world wide debt levels at all time highs, manufacturing is slowing dramatically which likely means unemployed rise in 2025!

Don't risk your life savings. Soon investers will find other seas to sail and you will be left holding the bag.

I think in 2025 investors should be expecting to say “Would you like fries with that”? a lot.

I went to a family dinner yesterday, Had a 12" pizza with my friend, an onion ring order and a beer picher. cost 72$ plus tip...around 100$ for a very simple meal for 2. Its double what we were paying 5 years ago. My salary didnt double in that timelapse

One concern could be parking. Renters further from the core often rely on having a parking spot, and with no overnight street parking allowed in many of these areas, it’s likely something that needs to be addressed.
