Santosha Yoga Australia offers yoga to suit all bodies: it doesn't matter if you are fit or not, flexible or not, a beginner or experienced yoga student. We help you find an escape from the rush and pressure of everyday life through the practice of yoga, breath work (pranayama) and meditation. We help you slow down, find calmness and connect to your Self.
Santosha (pronounced san-toe-sha) is the Sanskrit word for contentment. It is our belief that the practice of contentment, gratitude and acceptance are the keys to finding happiness from within. These are our core values, and they underpin everything we do.

Breathing practices for calm
Two short breathing practices that are designed to help calm the nervous system.
The first is quite simple: make your exhales longer than your inhales.
The second is a Physiological Sigh: two inhales and a long slow exhale.
Practice for 1-5 minutes to help bring calm to your mind and body.
