Internet of Senses Research Center, National Tsing Hua University
Our goal is to develop the cutting-edge technologies and applications required for the Internet of Senses, covering three dimensions:
1. Intelligent Sensing and Computing
2. Communication and Networking Technology
3. Augmented Reality Application
By focusing on "Sports Technology" and "Content Co-creation”, we aim to advanced talent cultivation, technology advacement, and industry-academia collaboration.

本研究致力於老年人的步態分析，採用數位孿生的概念。我們使用動作捕捉技術 來捕獲受測者在真實世界中的步行動作三維數據，然後在虛擬世界中創建一個相 似的環境，並將真實數據導入虛擬模型進行步態分析模擬。 在虛擬世界中，我們得以調整虛擬條件以模擬現實世界的限制和情況，例如相機 數量的影響。最終，我們將在實體端重現虛擬環境設置，相應地定位相機角度， 並實際構建系統部署於醫院門診中。
2024年度IoSRC 專題競賽冠軍： 基於手部運動的多模態數據在鋼琴演奏情感分類中的應用

本研究旨在透過分析鋼琴演奏者的肢體動作識別演奏時的情感表達，並即時生成對應的視覺特效增強演出沉浸感。我們基於二維情感模型，將情感狀態按照正負向性和喚醒度分為四個象限，並招募演奏者建構涵蓋四個象限的數據集。蒐集的資料包括手部IMU感測數據、手部深度影像、音訊檔案及情感狀態數值。本研究提出基於手部動作的多模態數據融合方法，用於識別鋼琴演奏中的情感表達，進一步探索鋼琴演奏時手部動作與音樂情感間的關聯性。
2024年度IoSRC 專題競賽季軍：識別洗手動作之智慧水龍頭實作（吳欣俞、吳珈丞、陳立維，國立中興大學）

以水龍頭上四個紅外線感測器收集數據，訓練模型辨別四種不同洗手動作，分別為十指交錯、合掌搓洗、搓左手背與搓右手背，達到確實洗手的目的。若洗手動作功能完成，下一步將研究人物辨識功能，藉由每個人不同的洗手動作來分辨人物，人物辨識功能未來能有許多應用，例如家裡每個地方都裝上辨識人物的水龍頭，走到每個角落即可不需調整便用自己喜歡的水量與溫度洗手。

本專題旨在實作一款基於 FPGA 的突波神經網路（SNN）加速器，傳統的辨識空間演算法往往需要耗費大量計算資源，透過借鑑昆蟲以非常少的神經元便能感知空間的能力，以角速度、速度、光流為輸入，再經突波神經網路（SNN）加速計算出自身與目標物在三維空間中的相對關係之深度資訊，以少的計算資源模擬出昆蟲的空間感知系統，可進一步運用於無人機避障等。
